YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Worst theater in Pearland! If you're looking to save money on tickets and the cleanliness, bad seating, small screens and your safety doesn't matter, then this is as good as it gets. The parking lot is dimly lit, sketchy and feels very unsafe. The staff was extremely friendly which was a plus. They upgraded their seats and they're suppose to recline... they do, however, they don't stay in that position and they're very noisey. The layout is poor. They claim they have standard stadium seating, but the rows aren't high enough... barely consider it to be stadium style when you have an obstructed view due to the person in the row in front of you being tall... loved the back of his head right in the bottom/ middle of the screen throughout the movie. It has very little leg room too. The concessions are average pricing, but the lines are very disorganized. There were 4 staff waiting on patrons, but not in multiple lines. Defeats the purpose and it takes too long. The theaters are dirty with so much trash and leftover concessions left behind, one would think that it's only cleaned at closing. The bathrooms were extremely dirty as well. Another safety concern... there was a row of young adults that were talking, giving their unwanted commentary during the film and had their phones out which caused an annoying glow over 6 seats... very distracting, not to mention rude. There was a child, looked to be 11-13 year old kid with his mom sitting behind them. The kid kept shushing them and we heard him say, please turn off your phone. One of the guys that was talking and had his phone out, jumped up, turned around to the kid behind him, shouted some profanities and acted as if he was going to hit the kid. He didn't, but simply doing the motion scared the kid, his mom and those around them. The mom & kid left and didn't return. Couldn't understand why no one came to have them removed. Perhaps that speaks volumes about...
Read moreI wish I didn't have to write this review, but I feel compelled to warn anyone who might not know - STAY AWAY FROM THIS THEATER. Nobody should have to pay to sit through an ENTIRE MOVIE with a constant, unending grounding buzz coming through the speakers. I notified a manager and can only hope that they actually bother to fix it, but that's anyone's guess.
If that were the only issue, however, I wouldn't be as disappointed as I am with this theater. Not only was there a terrible buzz the entire time, but the audio quality sounded like it was being played through a gas station Bluetooth speaker you buy for $5. Absolutely no low-end frequency response in the speakers, and the mids were uncomfortably loud. So even if the BZZZZZZZZ sound were fixed, it still would've sounded bad.
And on top of that, the entire movie was cropped in, for some reason. Every scene had on-screen text and/or blocking that was either improperly framed or entirely out of the shot as a result.
This was in theater #4, for anyone who is curious. Maybe the other theaters at that location are better, but I'm not coming back any time soon...
Read moreThis theater has grown so much over the years that I’m genially impressed, the new accommodations they offer are fantastic. Went you walk in to the movie theater your first impression is the look of it carpet have been replaced and new wood floors also they now have better cashier machines, there no more ticked both outside so you will have to buy your ticked inside, next thing you will notice is the nice self serving popcorn machines both on each side and the self serving fountain drinks they also added the ice machines for self serving. Also they added dipping dots. Once you paid your ticked and head over to the theater room you will notice the new reclining seats they are more confortable than the old one they used to have. I’m unaware if all theater rooms have the reclining chairs but for sure the ones theater 1,2 and 3 have them. Overall this place had change significantly over the years and I’m very happy for that, I hope to keep seeing more changes in the future but for now I’m happy...
