This is a great place to get bakery items that are authentically Mexican. When you walk in you collect a tray with tongs. There is a large display case with your pick of treats. The visual appeal is as great as the smell. One of my favorite cookies is a small cinnamon sugar cookie. They're light and crispy at once. The conchas are beautiful. Those colors remind me of my home city of San Antonio. A few other items are available like coffee, tea, and custom cakes. For the custom cakes there is a catalogue to choose your character. You can also get bolillo rolls for sandwiches or homemade hoagies. There are also croissants and decorative cookies. If you feel like sitting at the bakery and enjoying your food, they have a television and chairs for you to spend your time and savor your treats. My favorite part of the experience is you ger to mix and match a variety of baked goods. It appears that this is a family owned establishment that feels local. The workers are polite and efficient with helping you. One other bonus to this bakery is that everything is inexpensive and you won't spend much money. I...
Read moreSays online its open until 10pm and I went at 8pm to make sure I got enough time but it looked like they were closing. I saw somebody inside and I got off with my mask on and I was going to go inside to make sure they were closed. The lady inside saw me and completely ignoring me which is very rude. Then to top it off as I got into my car she smirked at me like she won! Okay, whatever. If they are closed I understand. We are in a pandemic and things closed early now. But the girl should have had some manners to come tell me it was closed. I was just getting down to make sure, and if they were closed I would have nicely leave. I was also going to nicely explain to her online it still says 10pm. Also, I wasn't the one who also passed by to see if they were open, I was just trying to help them out. All I know is I'm never bring my business here again. Not worth my...
Read moreWas recommended to this bakery for a 3 leches cake for an event. I went, ordered the cake and paid(very pricey)The lady that took my order was very nice and helpful, however when we picked our cake up and got it to the event and unwrapped it, it was so dry. There wasnât any leche at all in the cake. The icingâs were different than I had ordered, I had ordered whipped but got 3 different kinds of icing. Very sweet with dry cake, we actually had to order milk at the restaurant because guest felt as if they were choking on the cake. I did call them to tell them and ask if they wanted me to bring the almost whole cake back so they can see but got hung up on and they havenât answered my number since.
I do NOT recommend this bakery, if youâre looking for a nice 3 leches cake, hit Leslieâs bakery up @Fuqua and telephone, they havenât ever...
