So decided to try this new place in town, reading the reviews being good, I don't think so I am not being mean but let me tell y'all it's been a while since I not satisfied with the food Walk in customer service was great food wise, NOT AT ALL NFG JUST SAYING NOT WHAT I WAS CHARGE FOR AND TASTES TERRIBLE SO TO START WITH IS WHAT THEY CALL BEEF FAJITAS IT'S NOT IT'S MEAT THAT IS LIKE SOME TYPE OF ROAST THEY CHOPPED UP AND USED TO SELL YOU AT A HIGH PRICE FOR FAJITA MEAT FOR CARNE ASADA, AND THE BAR,BA QOA THE WORST I HAD IT'S ALSO BEEF ROAST NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEEF CHEEK, AND ALSO THE BACON WAS DEEP FRIED SO THEY CAN COOK IT QUICKLY THEY NEED TO COOK BACON OVER THE GRILL NOT DEEP FRIED ANYWAY I WON'T BE BACK $60. FOR NOTHING BUT NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU GO AND TRY IT YOUR SELF,

My family had brunch this morning. It was very good and the price was excellent! I had a barbacoa quesadilla which was insanely flavorful. My kids had the American Breakfast and a la carte pancakes, which were all simple and good sized. The El Palenque breakfast plate was good too. The tortillas were super fresh and the salsas delicious. We took a pozole soup to go and it is also very flavorful and full of meat. Our bill came out to $44 which was really good for 3 adult meals and 2 kids plates. Our waitress was very attentive and the whole place was clean and nice. Picture of the cute coffee mugs they have!

This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always solid. The prices are fair - not too expensive - and we always leave feeling satisfied and full. Some people have mentioned confusion about a surcharge for using a card instead of cash, but there’s actually a clear note on the bill showing the cost difference for each payment method. It’s nice that they’re upfront about it. Overall, this place has never let us down. Great food, good service, and reasonable prices - it checks all the boxes. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Really liked coming here. Was recommending friends & clients. But after today's visit, not worth it. A couple of weeks ago, we were here... ordered 1/2 lb barbacoa, which was accompanied by rice, beans & plenty of lime, and at least 3 tortillas. Today ordered the same meal... No rice or beans, No lime and 2 (smaller than before) flour tortillas. We requested lime. Recieved 5 slices of lime. Asked for more tortillas since they gave me 2 for half pound... they brought 3 more. At the time of check out... They had charged extra dollar for limes and 2.50 extra for 3 small flour tortillas. Won't be coming back and definitely not recommending anyone. And I need to let people I've told about this place know about new up charges. I asked the wait staff about changes... which they confirmed.

Update: In regards to owners' response... I didn't Dubble check the menu today when I ordered the 1/2 lb barbacoa. So, I can not confirm their statement. What is certain is that the last time we were there and ordered the same meal... it was served to me with rice, beans, limes, and cilantro (I requested no onions) and at least 3 flour tortillas for the same price. What was really the most disappointing was the new up charges for something like limes. And $2.50 for 3 smaller than usual...

I get breakfast tacos from this place almost every single day. Potato + Egg + Cheese + Beans on flour. Amazing, especially with the side salsa that they provide.

Anyone that leaves a bad review because of the level of English, I say that you are not open minded, and perhaps slightly ignorant. When you come to an authentic Mexican restaurant, some folks may lack that skill. That is expected, lol. Those types of restaurants always have the best authentic food, too. We live in 2025, and you are going to complain about poor English? Open a translator app! It’s not that hard. There are ways to work around that.

This place is A1, and the absolute TRUTH. (The only thing I will say, is to possibly add a waiting area/sitting area for pick-up orders, so that I’m not awkwardly standing by people eating, while waiting...
