Horrible experience yesterday. I went to go get my phone fixed (iPhone 6s), I asked the young gentleman working at the kiosk(By the forever 21) how much would it be to fix my screen since I already have the part. He gave me the price and told me cash only because of the recent hurricane, I believed him since a lot of stores had issues with electricity. Prior to paying I asked him if there's anything that I should know that may affect me probably , like warrantee or the probability of my device working afterwards. He told me nothing at all, I should have no worries. Once he fixed the phone and I retrieved it, I asked him for a receipt or some written notice that I paid for it. He kept on giving me excuses as to why he cannot give me A receipt."Coincidentally" he told me after I paid that since it wasn't their part I would not be able to get a warranty and they have nothing to do with the phone if it doesn't work after.It would have been beneficial to have known this information before I paid, if I would've known I would not have gone through with the process. I felt like he purposely withheld information to get money from a me , And now my phone does not work and I am out of money. I tried to contact the owner, but the sales associate was being really evasive with providing the information or allowing the owner to contact me. I went to fix my iphone screen which was shattered. The good: Price was good Install was quick
The bad: I didn't know this but there are 2 locations at Pembroke Lakes mall. When I showed up at 1045am no one was there. I called the number and was told of the second location by then I had already been waiting there for 15min which sucked. Although the install was quick.. something was off with the screen. The display was overly sensitive and didn't seem to be calibrated. Because Iphone does not let you do this yourself, I did some research and saw that this could be a side effect of replacing the display. I took it for what it was and have been living with it. Customer service could be better. It wouldn't hurt for the gentleman to smile and act like he wanted to be there even if he didn't. It's not welcoming so this is also another reason I never went back after I noticed the issues with the screen.
My luck (whether it be good or bad not sure) I broke my display again but I went to another place on Hiatus/Flamingo. Immediately I noticed the screen is no longer uber sensitive and truly feels like the original. Don't know if it was the part or the install previously...

Luckily for me, the day I went Gonzalo the owner was there and he went above and beyond to make sure my experience was one of a kind. Gonzalo was very friendly and helpful. He advised me to get a temper glass and a case to protect my phone. He also gave me a bundle deal. I’ve had my phone for about 3 months since I last visite repair guys and I’ve dropped my phone numerous times and my phone still looks brand new.
