Riverview Beach Park — Attraction in Pennsville Township

Riverview Beach Park brings back a lot of childhood memories and up to adult memories it's good for hiking it has great a great playground area for the children located right next to the bathrooms which are always very clean it has swinging chairs on the riverfront and a little climbing area for the children. There is also a huge covered picnic/family/ family or children's birthday parties picnic or eating area that is sheltered sheltered with roofing a very huge shingled overlay/A roofed in picnic area, I'll say it's about 40 ft,x 40 ft.. and it is right on the riverfront so you have a great View and surrounding the picnic area there are swinging benches. I have many good memories, much beloved times I've had there, and before the covet the September fest was and is one of the best celebrations in Salem County by far. I pray and hope we will see September 1st next year or period again due to the beautiful huge firework display that last at least 20 minutes when the September...

Beautiful views at this park. Easy to access and available parking. Seemed to be a nice place for family picnics or bbqs. Kids birthday party was going on at a covered pavilion. There was a notice that any party over 25 ppl needed a permit. Walked the waterline, paved paths. Dirt paths closer to the inner lake at the park. Geese were present but not much issue. Lots of young teens riding their bikes and hanging out at the water. A few covered pavilions throughout the park. Along waterfront there were countless benches, but there were also a handful of bench swings fot public use which I thought was a nice touch. Not sure if it is allowed, but seemed like a decent...

This adorable little park sits on the Delaware River, and has a pathway that you can walk right next to the water. There is a little lake here as well and plenty of people walking dogs.

When I was there, a local man recalled to me that the whole park was once a massive amusement park, and people would come via ferry to ride the rides and see the attractions. It was really cool to hear his memories of the place in its heyday.
