The good. The ice-cream. The bad, they do not keep up with the flavor updates. As a foodie from Philadelphia, I am accustomed to a higher standard of social media presence. In other words, if you post your daily specials/flavors, as changes are made throughout the day, those updates typically hit all their social media platforms. I mention this because if a local business in a financially depressed town is going to charge city prices (you can do your own due diligence) for frozen treats, I expect a higher level of service both online and face to face.
Which leads me to my last point... my bill for a rootbeer float and small cup of icecream was $11.50. I handed the gal a twenty dollar bill. It appeared she was short on change so I handed her $.50 and while closing my purse I saw I had a single one dollar bill which I kindly handed to her - and she tried to refuse saying "keep it, I dont need it, you already gave me the $.50 so ill give you $10 back, ok?" I asked her to confirm my total bill, which she did and then asked her if she wanted to double check herself. We went round Robin with this and while it's not tipping I believe in, but overtipping, she cooked her own goose. No bell ring for you.
I understand they don't teach how kids how to read a clock or make change anymore, I find this highly unacceptable behavior...her name tag indicated "GENERAL MANAGER".
Some might see this as a perk at this establishment or any others where employeescannot make change, I absolutely do not. If the General Manager cannot make change, and the upper management and owners haven't addressed this, let alone caught on - it doesn't say much for the business as a whole.
In short, the ice-cream was good, but I most likely won't go back if I'm...
Read moreThe other members of my group loved their ice cream; the atmosphere inside was clean and fun and the staff was very friendly!! I, while greatly enjoying myself, underwent the strangest experience with the "triple berry acai' which contained as far as I could taste, very little acai but a plethora of cinnamon oatmeal. While it didn't taste bad by anymeans the experience was certainly a bit of a shock, as when ordering something without oatmeal I typically don't expect there to suddenly be oatmeal or else oatmeal-esque substance folded in. A mistake I'll try not to make twice. Again, it tasted good. It just didn't taste like a multiberry acai as much as a bowl of breakfast if that breakfast was solely cinnamon oatmeal. My first indicator something was amiss should have been the color being incredibly pale compared to the standard acai but I'm not holding it against them. I would definitely go again all things considered, especially considering as I previously stated everyone in my group who got ice cream loved it. Really goes to show when you go to somewhere known for the ice cream, you should probably just get...

They even have cool little games there like checkers, connect four, card games, etc. so it’s really kid friendly. Customer service was great and they’ll even let you try the flavors before buying.
I will say one thing, I ordered a small and it was very generously portioned. Two scoops was...
