Candy Harbor is an absolute gem! They have an amazing selection of sweet treats — from their rich, creamy fudge and chewy, flavorful taffy (both made in-house!) to the best turtles you’ll ever try. Their ice cream selection is fantastic too, with flavors that hit the spot on a warm day by the water.

The shop itself is in a beautiful location, making it the perfect stop whether you’re out for a stroll or looking to satisfy your sweet tooth. What truly makes Candy Harbor special, though, are the owners. They’re incredibly friendly, welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for every customer.

I walked in with my family, including my two small children, excited to get some ice cream. We waited for over 10 minutes with no acknowledgment. Naturally, after waiting that long, my kids were getting a little restless — as kids do. Instead of being greeted or offered any help, an older man (possibly the owner) told me to keep my kids quiet, in a tone that was incredibly rude and uncalled for. I was so shocked and uncomfortable that we walked out. If you dislike families or children that much, perhaps an ice cream shop isn’t the best fit — maybe consider opening a cigar lounge instead. Just had the most amazing experience at Candy Harbor! My friend and I got a couple of ice cream (raspberry sorbet and COOKIE MONSTER!!) excellent. Great quality and consistency. The owner served us and was very pleasant and even informed me that his daughter invented their “Cookie Monster” ice cream. I will leave it up to you and come in and see for yourself ;) to top it off- the owner also surprised us with a couple of sea salted turtles!!! Highly impressed and happy! Thanks so much! Lovely...
