2000 Nails — Attraction in Philadelphia

The quality, artistry, and craftsmanship lacking in the technicians skill that serviced me today is appalling. I went in for a refill for my tips, french manicure and rhinestone adornments, which was "valued" at $40. The technician was heavy handed with the utensils around the cuticle, oblivious to the delicate balance which would have made the onset of this nightmare less traumatic. Her brush strokes were sporadic and un-uniformed, which left an un-even, mis-shapen, and globular-like appearance to the flat and rounded edges of the nail. There was minimal attention to detail as she plopped on layers of setting powder- for which I was forced to insist upon correction. The edges of some of my nails (again JUST completed) resemble the jagged edges of a rock whose home lies deep in the ocean, and the rhinestones (even upon multiple requests to center them all evenly) seemed a task too mighty a feat. The end result is a science experiment gone wrong- and sheer agony over $18 given (absolutely Not $40) because I'm just a good person, and though ROI was almost invisible, time was spent.

I strongly believe that even Stevie Wonder himself would see how poorly a job was done, and I'm just fortunate that I had the pleasure of getting high-quality professional services elsewhere, to know what's acceptable...

I came here for the first time in many years because my regular spot is being renovated and I needed a refill. The shop has been updated and it looks like there are new owners. There were 3 nail techs with clients and one person doing a pedicure. No one bothered to greet me, ask what services I wanted and did not acknowledge my presence in any way. No one else was waiting. This place is a joke. They Don't greet you when you walk in. They have great prices but the work on most of their nail techs is trash they sit and talk so much bs about you right in your face and then they all look you dead in your face and laugh. Very rude and unprofessional. My nails are huge and lumpy. Every time I tried telling the tech she made a mistake and how I wanted my nails she got nasty and started being really rough with my hands and sucking her teeth and talking about me in her Asian language.
