I'm only giving this place a 3-star because the event that we had turned out wonderful.
The boathouse was VERY dirty although I did see someone emptying the trash cans. I wasn't expecting to have to bring a broom and dustpan to clean up before setting up for a party. The porta-potties right next to the stairs stunk so bad that with a good wind, you could smell them at the top. Also, since this is a public park, there is NOTHING stopping people from walking right into your event or party just because they want to. Some guy walked up, started drinking 40s from a brown paper bag and listening to loud music clearly with zero interest in courtesy.
