After catching a 76ers game, we decided to stop by Penrose Cheesesteak & Cajun Seafood for a post-game meal—and it did not disappoint! The variety on their menu caught our attention right away, offering everything from classic Philly cheesesteaks to seafood bowls and Mongolian grill options.

We started with their cheesesteak, which was exactly what you'd hope for in Philly—juicy, well-seasoned meat packed into a soft roll, with just the right balance of cheese and toppings. It hit the spot perfectly. Next, we tried their wings, which came out hot, crispy, and perfectly sauced. The flavor was bold without being overpowering, making them an instant favorite.

The highlight of the meal, however, was the seafood bowl. Generous portions of fresh shrimp and crab were tossed in a rich, flavorful Cajun sauce that had just the right amount of spice. It was hearty, delicious, and left us wishing we had room for more.

What really stood out, beyond the food, was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Courteous and attentive, they enhanced our overall experience, making it one of the best post-game dining spots we’ve been to.

Please listen. The food is disgusting. My wings were not fully cooked, and my buffalo chicken sandwich tasted as if the chicken that was used was spoiled. I took one bite and could not even chew it in disgust. I informed the owner that I was unsatisfied with the product and would like to request a refund. He informed me that they do not do refunds, and that he would place them back into the grease, post him touch all over the chicken, pulling it apart to show me, in his opinion that it was done. I informed him, I did not desire any further food, because the food quality was below basic, so I prefer to have a refund. He gets extremely upset and begins yelling at me saying you can’t do that, I pay for this food and you can’t just request something else or a refund, in which I didn’t see this posted anywhere. He then accuses me of using a fake card to pay $46.66, are you kidding. Long story short. He proceeds to call the police, in which he was very racially disrespectful in description, and sadly quite incorrect on our race. The police of course are like, are you serious. In the end, I got a partial refund of $20, which was not equal to my food that was horrible. I took the teas x2 and fries x3 and discarded of them. I did contact the health department. Please be aware of this place, it’s not good at all!!! It deserves a 0...

They posted a picture of their food which had steak fries, I didn't receive steak fries..I received cheap, thin, dry crinkle cut fries which ended up in the trash. As for the onion rings, they are fast food style. The ones in their picture look pretty good, were these the same ? Maybe, I'm not sure so I won't worry about the rings, just know a small box is $5..fast food style, not big breaded ones. As you can see, the cheesesteak was very light on the meat. I feel like I wasted $65 dollars on 3 steaks with little meat, 3 sides of cheap fries and fast food onion rings. The bubble tea was fine, never had it before so I can't compare. Waste of time and money. It's ashame because I received a menu for the sushi place next door in my bag and believe they are related. I love Kasumi sushi and was one of the first to give them a five star review. I'll never come back...
