J'adore Palace - Beauty Salon — Attraction in Philadelphia

I had the pleasure of visiting this salon for the first time today, and I was thoroughly impressed by its beauty and cleanliness. I noticed the staff diligently cleaning the hairbrushes and maintaining a neat environment, which was exactly what I was looking for.

Mariam attended to my hair toning and styling, and I must say, she exceeded my expectations. She is remarkably down-to-earth and humble, taking the time to understand my preferences and delivering precisely what I envisioned. In my previous experiences at other salons, I often found that the color did not match my requests; however, Mariam achieved the exact dark highlights I desired, which are subtle and only visible under certain lighting conditions.

I specifically wanted a color blend that would seamlessly integrate with my natural hair, avoiding the typical chocolate brown or overly visible highlights that I encountered elsewhere. Mariam listened attentively and executed my wishes perfectly.

I went here for a hair blowout for my birthday dinner and made an appointment letting them know that my hair is curly and textured, and they said that was fine. When I arrived, they washed and started drying my hair, but as two ladies were blow drying it, my hair was still frizzy. Then one of them tried to flat iron the lower half and twist the ends to give it a “blowout” look, but it didn’t look anything like the reference I showed — it still looked frizzy and unfinished.

I politely asked if she could just curl it instead because it did'nt look like what I showed , and she got an attitude when I said that. Then she told me, “ your hair is damaged,” which was unnecessary and rude — she could’ve kept that to herself. On top of that, another girl (who seemed younger) came over and asked what happened in their language, and I could tell they were talking about me. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
