Dj'd a community clean up here one lovely morning only to find out that not all police officers are complete tyrants, nazis and racist idiots. Nice green space in the heart of the neighborhood. Imaginative design concept with converging footpaths, intelligent colourful and stimulating children's play creations. Nice to see trees spread throughout the park lending to a peaceful naturesque atmosphere. Benches tactfully placed for weary parents and senior citizens. Quiet enough despite the children's play area. I was able to read my book and chat with my friends without distraction. Ultimately, it's a great place for kids. They have so much fun in the jungle gym area. It's in the middle of North Philly, so the normal level of precaution comes with that; however, the surrounding area is rich with the LatinX culture and there are so many community resources around here that deal with diversity.
