I don't have a dog, therefore I felt excluded. I feel as though a less dog-centric approach could really help those of us without dogs to feel more comfortable in the dog park.....I felt uncomfortable with how a certain Great Dane was ogling my sandwich. I won't name names.(his name is Stookie). Perhaps his owner could train him to be a bit less creepy and a bit more aware of how his behavior has an effect on folks who just want to have a relaxed sausage sandwich in a dog park without a dog....

Read moreAs a Fishtown denizen, I'm very happy to have this off-leash park as an alternative to the mud pit of Triangle Park. The park is stocked with garbage cans, recycling bins, and water bowls. It has a decent amount of space and the broken up asphalt makes a jungle gym for pups. Parking is easy on Front, Palmer, and Front. My only points of complaint are the lack of trees for shade and the loose dirt and wood chips that get tennis balls more grody than usual, which my dog doesn't like to put...
Read moreLove this dog park. Fresh water is available for the dogs and although it's mostly cobblestone it gets the job done. My first trip there was very nice except there was a dog that was pretty aggressive that made most of the park leave. Sad that everyone else had to leave because someone else didn't know how to control their dog even though the rules are if your dog is showing aggressive behavior that they must leave immediately.
