If you’re searching for a new barber shop, look no further! I was a picky guy about where I went, but now after going here for almost two years, they not only met my standards, but RAISED them.

The owner, Mike, is one of the greatest guys that I know and takes incredible care of his business and clients. If you’re a regular, he’s bound to know you and greet you by name the moment that you walk in the front door, and I have yet to meet a businessman who cares as much as he does OR is as warmly professional as him.

Not only is Mike the best, but I have sat in the chair for EVERY other barber there, and none of them let me leave with anything less than an exceptional haircut (and I have pin straight hair that is super lightweight— not an easy kind to work with, but they managed to impress every time).

New job interview? I went to Blades of Gold. About to propose? Went to Blades of Gold. My wedding? Went to Blades of Gold.

They have seen me through it all (high taper military fade, mullet, etc), and kept me feeling fresh in all chapters of life. I could not recommend this business to enough people to do it justice, so do yourself a favor and book that...

There is a soul reason why this place is rated 5 star. I'm a female from out of town and needed a quick clean up for my wedding tomorrow. I had went to a place just before this and was so disrespected that I literally walked right back out the door. As soon as I stepped into this shop, we were greeted, invited to have a seat in the massage chairs, which I might add were phenomenal, and even offered a beverage. Once getting in the chair, I felt heard, was treated with the utmost respect, had wonderful wholesome conversations, and we haven't even got to the cut yet. What a phenomenal job, and the fact that Johnny had passion in his work was another added bonus. Don't sleep on this place. I'd give it a 10 star if I could.
