What is this locations issue? My son and I met for dinner, both of us ordering the bigger plate because we were both very hungry. Honestly, we should have just gone somewhere else to eat because everything about this place was not welcoming. So, first of all had to wait 45-55 minutes for fried rice to be made. The honey walnut shrimp was low and looked old, so I assume that they were making fresh and the orange chicken although they had plenty, that my son ordered was ready but was not served to us but to others who came behind us. Then they asked for more orange chicken to be made. Cashier rushed to ring up empty cartons asking me to pay and I was like “ahh, nope cause you don’t even have my food or my sons food in those cartons”. I am from Missouri, the show me state and ahh no, food first, money later! So, we waited, almost an hour watching them wait on customer after customer that came in after us, before finally our horrible food was boxed and ready. I asked for teriyaki, sweet and sour sauce and chili sauce and the stank attitude of the person was as if I was interrupting her already stank day. My money is green period, I could care less if you came to work with an attitude miss missy, cause bottomline you get paid to take my money and do your job period! If it’s too much for you, then honey, go home cause there are so many other people out there who need a job and will treat customers like their money matters, not like we need to be kissing your behind because you forgot you were at work and not in a doggone Tik Tok video. Anyway, I got home and the fried rice was hard as rocks, shrimp crisp on outside, raw on the inside and to set it off as if half done food wasn’t enough, I found a black strip of hard plastic in my fried rice. Child, this was a bad end to my busy work day but you know what I will never eat here again. It’s not worth all the stank attitude, long wait, poor service and stank...
Read moreWe stopped in for dinner Friday September 19th. I walked in the head and asked if they were still open. The lights were on but they look like they were cleaning and mopping and getting ready to close. The manager without turning around answered back "you have 10 minutes". We had just left AMC Theater in Scottsdale and had googled for restaurants that were still open. Panda Express was open until 11:00 p.m. we arrived at 10: 10 pm. This was 50 minutes before closing. So I was surprised about the managers response as he was dumping out the container of iced tea. We usually get the same entrees. I noticed that the spring rolls there was only two left and they were added with the wontons and they were up front instead of by the cash register. So as I looked around some entrees were about half full and others were near empty. We ordered our food but since there was no iced tea we just drink water. At that point, 6 more couples of two each staggered in separately. One couple left because they had so many empty pans. We finished eating and walked out. We were in our vehicle at 10:30 p.m. we watch the manager go back to the drink station where he was shutting down the soda machine. This was now 30 minutes before closing. For a late night dinner I do not recommend this location. The manager was rude and they were breaking down way too early for their advertised closing time on a...
Read moreThis establishment's consistency varies; your experience may depend on the time of day or night. The broccoli is often cut too large, and the absence of knives poses a challenge. The chow mein tends to be overloaded with onions, surpassing a desirable quantity. During the COVID period, Panda Express discontinued the Sweet and Sour and Teriyaki Sauce that was provided in a convenient manner, citing supply issues. Despite the return to normalcy, the original and favored Sweet and Sour, as well as the Teriyaki Sauce, have not been reintroduced; instead, they now offer smaller packets. This change appears to be a cost-saving measure, resulting in a less satisfying experience for patrons. Personally, I suspect there may have been no intention to bring back the original sauces. I only choose to dine here when faced with extreme hunger and time constraints, as I would prefer alternatives if given the...
