8 Must-Visit Archery Spots in the Bay Area 🎯 Experience Something Unique

First time here. Enjoyed my time here with a friend. All levels of experience practice here. Beware of people who don’t know what they are doing (being unsafe and rude). We weren’t able to experience the entire course. I’d like to return and try it out.

Nice archery course nestled away in the woods, but it's still easy to get to (compared to other courses). A little hard to find- just head down the hill to the right of the parking lot. Enjoy the range and hiking course, and don't forget to leave a tip.

This place is an amazing outdoor free (but you should donate) archery range. One of the most scenic and beautiful archery ranges ever. It has a walking shooting course similar to golf where you shoot at a target, get your arrows and then walk to the next "hole" or target among these beautiful trees many of which are Redwoods. They also have a regular range where you shoot your target what for the line to finish and then everyone gets their arrows together with various distances from 10 yards to 60 yards (and maybe farther). Not sure if there are bathrooms but it is on opposite side of parking lot from the scientific center. Definitely...

Volunteer-funded and run archery club with shooting range and 42 targets along courses that wind through the woods over the ridges. For non-members, there's a $5 day use fee which you can stuff in a little collection box by the clubhouse gate. It's a friendly and supportive community, and all bow types. Bring your own equipment , unless you come with a member, in which you can try out some of the loaners in the clubhouse. There are monthly volunteer work Saturdays to maintain the course, meet folks, and...

Came here with a group for a birthday (mine lol) and it was so much fun. Instructors/helpers were clearly super passionate about archery (and safety, of course) but also made sure everyone was having fun.

If you do the intro/beginners class - you start shooting at targets that are super close and the better you do, the farther back you get to move your target. They also will put up balloons on the targets which is super fun/satisfying when you pop all of yours with the 3-4 arrows you get for...
