A highlight of our trip! I’m petrified of heights and was so terrified to do this. My husband and son DRAGGED me through the door, and I was 99% sure I was going to sit in the lobby and wait for them to return. But I immediately felt so welcomed and was assured that if I felt like I couldn’t do it, there were some points along the way I could tap out and get them to come get me and bring me back. The first 2 zip lines aren’t that high. It got my feet wet and helped me trust the equipment and my guides. By the 3rd, I was still shaky but I was having a blast. My smile never left my face, and by the end, I was even letting go with both of my hands! So if you’re scared of heights, DO IT. I’m telling you, the worst part was standing on the platforms. Once on the zip line, I wasn’t scared of the height of it at all, I was just in awe of the pure beauty of the mountains around me. I had one of the best times of my life and am so glad I did this! I recommend this company to anyone who is scared to do ziplining - they take you by the hand every step of the way and I never felt unsafe, not once.

The vertical repel wasn’t bad at all if you don’t think about it! So definitely don’t be scared about that part.

All in all, if we come back to Gatlinburg, this is on our list to do again! My son and husband also had the time of their life. Hope this helps those with a fear of heights! Don’t let it keep you from...

Visiting Tennessee has been a great and very memorable experience for me and my family. The most outstanding feature which is represented by every native is their warm, inviting and grateful dispositions. As a tourist, you hope that you are welcomed by the business owners, and treated with an appreciation that frankly, every business owner and its employees should garner. Thats not always the case. So far, in Tennessee, “y’all” are all wonderful people. Such is surly the case with Smoky Mountain Ziplines. From the moment you enter their building, to the very moment you leave, every human you engage with, is super friendly, patient, informative and comforting. Dalton and Travis were real cool dudes. They were very thorough, comical, and sensitive to the fears and anxieties folks have when they are about to zip along lines that are stretching 150 ft high and 850 feet long, above the black bear populated forests below. They were sternly, safety oriented, but both Dalton and Travis combined their safety first focus with funny and jovial personalities that trimmed the fears of myself and my kids and allowed us to truly enjoy an otherwise very scary event. We are all first timers, and plan on doing it again.. i attribute this to the professionalism of Dalton and Travis. Make sure you remember to give these dudes a healthy tip… they make a huge difference in your zipline memories. Thanks...

I’ll be honest—I was terrified to try ziplining. Like, sweaty palms, questioning my life choices, why-did-I-let-my-family-talk-me-into-this kind of scared. But from the moment we got geared up, Mike and Robbie had us cracking up and completely distracted from any nerves. These two didn’t just guide us—they put on a full comedy show in the trees! Their constant jokes, playful banter, and "professional-ish" pep talks had me laughing instead of panicking. Before I knew it, I was actually having a blast flying through the trees like a very brave, slightly screaming squirrel. My wife Amber and our two kids were all loving it, and it quickly turned into one of our favorite memories from the trip. The course itself was awesome—beautiful vews, well-run, and safe—but it was Mike and Robbie’s energy that made it unforgettable. If you’re nervous like I was, go anyway. Just make sure you ask for those two guys—they’ll have you zipping and grinning in no time. 10/10 would scream again.
