Elk Ridge Lodge — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

Our family of 10 specifically booked this cabin for the indoor private pool. for a week (Saturday to Saturday). When we arrived, there was no water in the pool and the liner was falling in. The hot tub was disgusting and had so much chlorine in it (it was obvious it was not drained and refilled) that we were coughing just taking the cover off. We had no WiFi...so the TV in the media room and the lower bedroom (the one with the bunk beds) were useless (they were smart TVs)...and the TV in the main living area was fried. Only 2 bedrooms had working TVs. The freezer had a huge block of ice in the ice maker that was solid (like it had thawed and refrozen), and had ice all on the bottom of the freezer...the fridge also leaked so we awoke to water on the kitchen floor everyday (thank god no one slipped as it's not easily seen based on the floor color). The floor in the living area is all messed up and they simply covered it with a runner. The bedrooms have closets, but no hangars provided...and one closet didn't even have a rod in it. The bathrooms were not clean (we bring a Black light with us when we travel) but at least the linens were. The kicker...the roof and windows leaked when it rained. We spent more time trying to keep the cabin "clean" than we do in our own homes. And yes, we called Cabins USA promptly on Saturday when we arrived to notify them about the pool, TVs and WiFi...and were in contact with them all week. But nothing was fixed during our stay and we are still fighting with them to get our money back.

The only upside to this cabin is where it is located and the views. If I could give it ZERO stars I would...save your money...this "luxury" cabin is not...

Great cabin, almost lodge like. Lots of room, great views, every bedroom has it's own bathroom and the downstairs has queen size log bunk beds. I booked via CabinUSA and they are extremely responsive to requests. Animals do roam so don't leave food or anything on the decks overnight, we had a raccoon visit us on the 2nd floor deck one night and saw tiny footprints on the hot tub cover on 1st floor deck. The inside pool needs some major maintenance, lining is slipping into pool, gaps on 1 end, has dark stain around top. humidifier doesn't work, room was more like a sauna and had to leave door open when using (possible issue, see raccoon issue). Still a great cabin, but the pool is IMO unusable...

When we arrived to our cabin the kids wanted to swim ,but the pool was not working. Wanted to watch TV but there were no batteries in either of the remote controls called serval times for mantance to come out no one showed up. I had to get up early and call for the 4th time finely someone showed up. Also there was trash and dirty wash rags on the balcony along with broken chairs. The beds are not comfortable at all. Positive note once the pool was fixed and we got our batteries days 2 and 3...
