A lot of these reviews seem to be for the Chatham Mills Co-op store. The farmers market is on the lawn on Saturday mornings. By far my favorite farmers market. It is small enough to not feel rushed and large enough to have everything you need. While it's running it is where I do the bulk of my shopping! Grass fed meat, herbal remedies, fresh cut bouquets, beautiful mushrooms, potted plants, and of course delicious produce! A lot of times there are really cool crafts too like wooden bowls and hand made soap. The best thing about the market is that all of the products are made/grown by the people selling them! And they are very transparent about the methods they use (organic/non gmo, etc). Around the holidays, there are lots of local crafts and it is a great place to find one of a kind gifts.

Our local Chatham Mills Farmers Market meets on the lawn Saturday mornings. This intimate group of vendors offers everything I need for my grocery needs. Poultry, eggs; chicken quail, and goose!, pork, flowers, plants, great selection of produce, soaps and more! Quality food, great vendors! Love making this my Saturday morning routine:)

Pleasant, eclectic mix of groceries, produce, and vendors. Love the Pollinator Garden in the parking area cared for by Chatham County extension agent Debbie Roos and Master Gardener volunteers.

I was definitely taken back by the prices and poor selection. Everything was labeled organic probably just to charge more. Milk in the glass was 5.49. The price said 2.99 for a quart. Get to register and they added another 2.50 for the glass. I returned it and the cashier only gave me 49 cents. She got confused and did not give me the 5.00. By the time i realized she didnt give me the 5 dollars i was in the car. So that meant i would have to go back inside they would have to count the register and that would take probably 20 min at a min. Not worth it. I will find another farmers market to go to. At least the peaches were good. But at 6.99 lb it...

Staff is always kind and ready to help. Not the same selection (specifically meats) as most of regular grocery stores but it is a small building. But worth the trip all the same. Also HUGE shout out for helping the people of pittsboro who are unfortunately enough to have to deal with the town water for supplying them with free CLEAN water. And if you are going to go you can supplement the meats by going on Saturday mornings when they typically have a few meat vendors out front in...
