James Gallery — Attraction in Pittsburgh

I had my wedding reception at the James Gallery on June 27 ,2014. It was nothing short of spectacular. James was so kind and lovely to work with and he was very social with our guests during the evening. He socialized and talked with everyone about the gallery. It was such a treat to have him there that evening.

The venue is modern, sleek, elegant and stylish. We had a cocktail reception for 150 people and it was the most perfect space in the city for a wedding of this nature.

I had a few meetings with James prior to the wedding and I asked if I could bring in lighting for the outdoor garden and inside the gallery and he allowed it. The garden looked like something out of a magazine. It was truly amazing.

The James Gallery really is and will always be my most favorite and treasured place in the city. James understood my vision and helped me bring everything to life. Our wedding was a dream come true and that had everything to do with James. I would recommend this venue to everyone and anyone.

What would a hospital be like without windows? I feel the same way about fine art in hospitals and doctors offices. I recently spent time at Allegheny General Hospital where my husband was a patient. Just like windows, the beautiful pictures on the walls provided light, color, and a pleasant respite for my eyes and my thoughts. Whether a patient, care giver, or staff, the effect is healing.

I was able to experience the art consulting of the James Gallery through my labor and delivery experience at West Penn Hospital. Throughout my 20+ hour labor at West Penn, I was able to truly appreciate the art and design of the suites. Upon arriving at the hospital I was under stress and in a lot of pain, within an hour of being in the labor and delivery suite both the hospital staff and myself observed a drop in my stress and blood pressure.
