I have never visited this city hall in NJ but I just saw a 30 min video on youtube. It was published in 2022 by long Island audit who is a first amendment auditor. When approached by the city hall police, a detective Franklin in a very aggressive and disrespectful manner. Obviously officer Franklin was ignorant of the laws on public filming. However, the way he talked to the first amendment auditor was in very por taste and unprofessional. These employees need training in communicating with the public in a respectful and cordial manner and most important knowledge, education,and training in laws relating to public video filming. How embarrassing for officers who have been employed by the city for many MANY years and still don't care or care to understand basic laws and how to perform their duties.
