I'd like to preface this by saying thank you VERY MUCH to the guys at the front desk. You guys tried your best. Took my family out to the lanes for some mini-golf. When we started we were all having a good time (2 of us got hole in 1's on 1st hole Woot woot).. lol Than a larger family group came over to the course and ruined everyone's fun. The kids were running all over the course, even the ones ppl were playing on. They would put their balls down and play right over us as we were trying to play a hole. The family went around the course twice pushing my 5 year olds ball outta the way so they could play are hole and I lost it. Went and complained to the desk. The guys were VERY NICE they can over and talked to the family but, as soon as they walked away.. the family began it's 3rd game. Unpaid I might add. As they would skip the last hole so they could keep playing. I watched another family leave early and mind was furious. As we were leaving I bumped into 1 of my neighbors and told them what happened. His response was "don't bother. That family walks around here and do what ever they want.. no one does anything about it" I was shocked, the old owner wouldn't put up with his paying customers being driven away by 1 family. Good luck to you if your fine with disrespectful thieves running amuck in your place.. To the guys at the front desk thanks for trying.. to anyone thinking of going to this place .... dont bother unless your ok with people walking over you... It's a shame was a nice place in an...
Read moreI came bowling here with my friend, neither of us have ever bowled here before but it was central to both our locations. We bought two games split between the both of us. We finished bowling one game and the whole lane turned grey. I went to ask the owner what happened since we bought two games. The owner immediately gave me an attitude, was extremely condescending, and mansplaining the way that bowling works. I go bowling frequently at my local lanes and I have never ever EVER heard of this pricing system at a bowling alley. If I had wanted to be spoken down to and indirectly called stupid for being a female, I would have stayed at work longer and skipped out on bowling. Usually, every other time I have gone bowling, I've paid after I played. And, if the owner sensed confusion in us originally, he should have explained when we were buying the games rather than be a crotchety old man. Like I said previously, if I wanted to speak to a rude old man, I would have kept my job at a grocery store. I will never be coming back to this bowling alley ever again due to the rude...
Read moreA sunday afternoon visit specifically for the indoor mini-golf. Spent a while online looking for a place to do indoor mini golf in CT near where I live. There aren't too many choices. This place is a bowling alley/indoor mini-golf/arcade and lounge all rolled up into one. They have a section of the building dedicated to mini-golf and an arcade. A clean 18 hole course that wasn't to challenging, yet challenging enough if you imagined all the holes being a par 2. They made use of "half-sunk" bowling pins and balls, alligators and turtles as some obstacles. It emulated an outdoor course with the use of topographical contours and a pond/ water system. The water system wasn't active, but i though it was pretty cool there was even one here indoors. Most indoor places I have been to, are really flat and base the course on obstacles only. They had seasonal decorations up to add to the atmosphere. Top 100 pop playing over the speaker system. Pretty cool entertainment center, will have to come back someday for the...
