Sherwood Park — Attraction in Plainwell

Nice park along the Kalamazoo River. The park has the Veterans Memorial close the north end. There are three basketball courts at the opposite end. The city page claims there are also sand volleyball courts but that must have been before they put a restroom since the Google Map street view picture from 2012 shows a volleyball court where the restroom is now. There is a playground in the middle which contains quite a few items, including a playground structure, swings, spinner, and a teeter-totter. There are quite a few benches and tables next to the playground to watch kids while they play. There are additional benches and tables along the river, next to the basketball courts and on the north end as well. Finally, there is a small parking lot. Nice...

Not quite Sherwood forest but still a great adventure the entire family can enjoy. Loaded with lots of fun for the family with finger painting, lots of free honey tasting, little bears and donkeys everywhere along with a cool Friar John statue and free Robinhood giveaways every hour.
