Thurl Cook Park — Attraction in Plainwell

The sign clearly says no aggressive dogs at the dog park. 🙄 so my pup is 4 months. We went in and he was playing paying no attention to the dog that came in and went for his throat with its fur up. Luckily I managed to get my dog out. Owner offered no apology and blew it off stating she takes it to work and it's no problem there. I honestly should have taken a pic. Brunette 20ish long hair fit build owner, black bigger looks like poss a husy mix but all black. Be ware. People don't seem to follow...

The dog park is so fun and spacious. My dogs have so much fun running around. I have never been concerned about the fence. The park is also very pretty in the spring and I'm glad they left the flowering trees when they put the dog fences in. I do wish there were a better way of getting in though because the roads are a little sketchy...

Love visiting this place. Has a nice set up with the recently added dog park. People usually don't realize there is additional parking off of Oak St since the marker is place at the North side of the park parking lot. They have a playground area, picknic spot, and tennis courts...
