This is a very nice park. The location is epic, near downtown Plainwell, making it convenient for walking to local businesses. It's also connected to other local parks, Hicks Park and Sherwood Park. It's extremely convenient. The best part is, if you live in Plainwell you can walk here, and if you don't, the parking is abundant and free. There are benches, a gazebo, and a bathroom (contrary to other reviews) which is in the kayak building. It has always been public so far as I'm aware. One can launch kayaks from here. There's a very nice view of the historic paper mill and a historic marker, as well as the river and gardens. The gardens here during the summer are very, very pretty and attract tons of honey bees. The dock is nice, and the whole park in general is a great place for senior pictures, homecoming or prom pictures, or any other pictures. I've even watched proposals and weddings here!
