Great location, really enjoyed trotting through plain well to get here. Adjacent to plain well ice cream.

Food was mediocre, home made chips were alright (kinda bland and inconsistent texture). Parmesan fries basket was pricey for the small portion we received. Flavor was alright and the cheese didn’t stick the greatest. I ordered the California Ruben and it was good! I appreciated the crispness of the bread, but would only rate it a 7/10 due to its blandish flavor. I would recommend adding more oomph to the slaw/ thousand island. My family members got the sweet potato fries with their buffalo chicken wrap entree and those were awesome! I highly recommend. The chicken wrap itself was alright. My partner had the Box Car BLT, it was good but also pretty dry. She recommends buttered bread and adding more sauce of sorts.

Drinks were great! My partner was especially happy they had a sweetened wine to sip.

Service was good. I appreciate the swiftness.

Atmosphere was good, classic pub/bar feel with a bit of a barn twist. (Also check out the hall they have an awesome pezz dispenser display)!

Overall there is some work to be done, my main concern was the price. I understand things are expensive now a days, but with a raise in price should come with a raise in quality. Either way my family and I had a great time!...

I went to meet a few friends of mine after work and had never been here. It seemed like a happening, clean place. I told the hostess my friends were already at a table and gestured toward them. I was told by the hostess I couldn't join as a 5th. I get it. I have waited tables before and could see I would have been sticking out into the aisle and my friends were mid-dinner. But she didn't offer me anything else, other than a blanket no. I stood there awkwardly for a second until noticing the bar was right there so I bellied up to the bar instead. I told the bartender I was just meeting some friends but couldn't join the group so I'd like a drink. I was told the bar was reserved for folks ordering food. I awkwardly looked at the half empty bar and the two gentlemen next to me just drinking and was admittedly frustrated by this point. I've never been to a bar that just wouldn't let me order a drink. She didn't offer me a food menu or a drink menu just seemed to refuse my service and walked away so I left. Honestly it seems like a nice place with good food but the hospitality was severely lacking. I'd like to try this place but first impressions are huge and my experience within 5 minutes of this place was less...

Let me just say that the atmosphere is really awesome. I love the aesthetic and our waitress was very good. The service was amazing and the beer was even exceptional, so I am giving a 3 star rating. However, the burger I had was severely lacking on both occasions I have visited. Honestly, everyone raved about the burgers here. I've been twice, and both times, I asked my burger be a medium rare and it came out beyond well done both times I've visited. The onion rings aren't beer battered, so they're nothing to call home to mom about. The bacon was as dry as the burger. It overall just tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. I'm not one to complain and I'm pretty easy to please, given the patty is cooked correctly, but both times, it wasn't even close. That changes the experience from great to mediocre and that's how I'll say it. It wasn't the worst burger I've had (it was near the bottom of the list), but it's far from the best or even top ten in the area. I wanted it to be better than it was, but sadly, it just fell short every time...

Recently discovered this place while doordashing. So my family brought me here for my birthday dinner. I got the smoked meatloaf sandwich with onion rings and it was delicious. The beer cheese that comes with the pretzels is really good along with the buffalo cheese curds. The soup special is sweet pepper crab that was pretty good. Our servers name is Jackie she's very friendly very good at her job and she made sure to bring refills without us having to ask. Then Jackie surprised me with a birthday dessert cuz she heard me say it was my birthday dinner. Other than the food my favorite thing is that the building is all beautiful wood throughout absolutely gorgeous this will be a perfect date night place. I will definitely recommend this place to friends.

Great Food, great beer and even better service!!! We came in from Wash. state and found this glorious gem of a spot. If we lived here this would definetely be our go to spot. We have been several times now and have managed to try something new everytime with there own flavor profiles. It feels like a little piece of home. Service is AMAZING!!! Waitress is always checking on you and your drink is never empty. Beer is very tasty and they have a great selection. The fact that it's in an Old Mill just adds to the charm. They have pinball machines and cornhole upstairs if you have to wait for a table or you can sit in there mug room and have a drink while you wait. Sorry to leave this place, if you are here for a visit this is a must go!!!

We stopped in and ordered all apps! The burnt end hot dogs, smoked whitefish dip, and tater tots. This is such a gorgeous building -just watch your step, the floor is stunning but a little uneven with age! Staff were really friendly. The whitefish dip was good -lots of dill, which I like, but I couldn't really taste the smoky fish. The hot dogs were a dark horse surprise. I made fun of my partner for ordering, but I went back for thirds! They're weird, but oddly good and the Texas toast really makes the meal. The tots were good, ya can't go wrong with tots! All in all, it was good! Price-wise I think perhaps a smidge high ($35 for 2 appetizers and a basket of tots), but not so high that we won't be back at some point.
