Sunview Park — Attraction in Plantation

This is a 20 acre neighborhood park in Ft Lauderdale. The park takes its name from two little leagues, Sunset Lire League and Broadview Park Little League.

This is sports park. Amenities include a baseball/softball field, basketball court, restrooms, computer lab, and community center. The park offers classes, clubs, association meetings, and after school care, summer, and teen programs.

The park looks very well maintained. While I prefer parks with hiking trails it is nice that the city provides a safe place for recreation leagues. It is also good to know that they provide child care...

This is my local park and it's always pretty well upkept. The basketball court is nice and flat, which I use for skateboarding, but the number 2 net is slight lopsided to the left. Dogs are allowed in specific fields of the park, however one of the specific dog designated fields does have gaps between the gates and fence big enough for a Yorkshire terrier to fit through. Normally if a park is going to be closed they either announce it around or the door is closed. This time I got there with my toddler and it was open but an employee told us that the park was closed.
