Quad-Cities Waterfront Convention Center — Attraction in Pleasant Valley Township

We went to Rodney Carrington last night and had tickets in the VIP section. Whoever was in charge of the set up didn’t completely think it out properly. The tables and snacks were nice but it was so crammed together you couldn’t even walk through. We sat at the high top which was set up on the back side where I sat down in my chair and literally fell off the back about a 3ft drop and landed flat on my back on the floor!!! They had every chair right on the edge of the floor with no back support! It looked like it when you first walked up there but the backing was just a hanging piece. They should’ve had a bigger riser set up or something that fully connected to the back. I was in complete shock that the whole thing even happened. I didn’t break anything or was seriously hurt but if it would have been an older person it would have been different. Everyone around us even agreed that the set up for the back row was completely ridiculous and warned everyone about it so it wouldn’t happen to anyone else. The lady in front of me was like they are lucky you’re such a nice person because if that would’ve happened to me I wouldn’t have been. I am definitely feeling it today as my whole back and neck are now sore. Now that the adrenaline has worn off. I gave 3 stars because we enjoyed the show and still had a good time, I just wanted to make you aware for future events to have a better set up with enough room where you don’t have chairs right on the edge of a raised floor and nothing to keep them from falling. There were a couple employees that came to help but didn’t really say much. One employee heard about it later, I think he was an event manager and came over and apologized and was really nice but the first two didn’t really act too concerned which was kind...

We got married this past weekend and had our reception at the Waterfront and we couldn’t recommend it without a doubt! We worked mainly with Lauren and she was absolutely amazing! She responded to emails very promptly and was very easy going with any changes we had. She made the whole process a breeze. Lauren and Addie were with us the night of the wedding and did an amazing job with checking in on us throughout the night to make sure everything was going great or if anything needed to be changed. They kept us up to date on when our kegs ran out and when new food hit the tables. The food was amazing and the late night pizza is a must to keep the party going! The venue was absolutely beautiful. We unfortunately had a problem with the fountain and some of the lights outside not working that night but definitely not a deal breaker. Ann was in charge of our hotel blocks. We got an initial email from her about the blocks but we felt like it was difficult to get in contact with her some times throughout the process. The rooms were great and we loved that we had the option to upgrade to a suite for a little extra money. Thank you to this amazing team for helping make our dream wedding...

Beautiful venue for any type of event. A non for profit organization I voluneer with has their annual event here every october. They have bouncy houses, crafts, snacks and performances going on all at the same time. I believe you can you portions of the venue as well if you are having a smaller group.
