I love this dogpark a lot. I love how its divided into two spaces (one for little dogs and one for all dogs). There's a little bit of shade, and the ground is either paved cement or bark. In the big area there's some equipment for agility, and people have donated water bowls and tennis balls. On the contrary, some people don't pick up their dog's poop so other people do (or step in it first), let their dogs be bullies, bring their toddlers in (its not safe), and not supervise their pets. Most dogpark goers are responsible dog owners, but the few that aren't do ruin the whole experience for the rest. Read moreLovely dog 🐶 park! Nice crowd 👍🏻 I’ve been to many dog parks over the years and this is one of the better ones. It’s kept clean and dog owners are friendly. Most all dogs are fairly well behaved. There are nice benches to sit and lots of nice concrete and bark to run and play on. Just before sunset it is very pretty over the Pleasanton Ridge which is very steep. This is a beautiful spot with lots of trees and very nice safe neighborhoods in the surrounding area. There is also grocery shopping and restaurants just a .5 miles distance away. #Pleasanton #letsguide #petfriendly #localguide...
Read moreCubby's is a fantastic dog park. First off, if you have to drive there, there is ample parking, as it also serves as a trailhead for the Marilyn Kane trail. Secondly, the dog park is segregated into two parts, a gigantic run for large dogs and a pretty big run for smaller dogs. Both runs have shady spots and tables/benches for dogs' humans. There's also good afternoon shade, particularly in the small dog park. A big plus is that both parks have water for dogs.
If you have a dog, or if you just love dogs and want to get a fix, definitely consider visiting...
