Holiday Garden Center — Attraction in Plum

I recently stopped at this place to purchase a Christmas tree, that was until I realized the cheapest ones they had were around $80 and they went all the way up to almost $300. So obviously I didn't buy one, who in their right mind would ever pay that much for a Christmas tree. Today is December 12th and they still have more than half of the Christmas trees that were there when I went a few weeks ago. They have not marked them down, discounted at all or anything yet. Just imagine how many needy families are out there in this world that can't even afford a Christmas tree or gifts You would think that this place would at least discount the trees that are still there right now 2 weeks away from Xmas. Or better yet donate some to a church or something. Also it's sad that all of those trees are going to be a complete waste and killed for no reason other than the owner trying to make a BIG buck $$$$$. This place makes me sick, their level of GREED is disgusting!! I always try to support a local, small business but NOT this GREEDY one !!!

UPDATE 12/14/2023 Once again this year I was driving past this place and noticed that they have hardly sold ANY Xmas trees. I'm guessing that's because they are priced SO HIGH!!! I stopped and looked, and the smallest, unglyist tree was $72 dollars, and they went WAY UP from there. That is ridiculous and greedy, then what happens when Xmas Day passes and a hundred trees are still on their lot. They get ground up, or just trashed. If this company had any decency they would donate some to the needed or struggling families. Not just cut them to kill them. I wish more people would notice the greed of this place, and shop elsewhere. I will. Ever spend 1 cent at this place, and never have a good word to...

It was my first time visiting. I usually really enjoy visiting local small businesses and leaving them good reviews. Nice selection of plants, and I took some time to look around and make my choices. No staff said hello or even smiled as I walked past, although they seemed pleasant enough with the other customers. To be honest, I thought I felt some resentment from one staff member and pointedly ignored by another. But thwn I figured maybe they were just busy amd I was imagining it. After choosing quite a few plants, I stepped outside to get one more plant that I decided on, and when I turned around to go inside to the register to make my purchase, the doors were shut and locked. I had only been a few feet away, still inside the nursery. Feeling really disappointed and sad, I went to my car and left, leaving a cart full of plants behind. When I got in my car it was 4:59 pm. If I could give this company negative stars I would. First the driver shows up and doesn't even say hi. Says "where do you want this" backs down halfway down my driveway and says I cant go any further I will just dump it here. (literally in the middle of my driveway). I said absolutely not.

Suggested no good beneficial place for me. Then rushed me to make a decision on and didn't offer any help or care in the world.

Then i suggested another place in the front of my yard he said he wont drive through grass at all. Didn't want to help me. Then I called down to the manager to discuss the situation. He told me that the manager isn't in. call back. I asked for a name. He said "Call back for the owner" I asked for his name. He said his name is the owner. WORST...
