Great value, limited but good free breakfast, clean rooms, helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh. A relative attends college on the eastern side of Pittsburgh, so we stayed here for a week. Breakfast has one of my favorites, raisin bran, and also self-serve made-on-the-spot waffles (4 mini waffles instead of 1 big one), frosted flakes, toast. If they had hazelnut creamers it would have been a perfect breakfast for me. Everything worked in the room including the bathroom exhaust fan, which actually exhausted air (not just the fan moving with a blocked vent). I wish the window had a screen so I could let fresh air in without bugs flying in; instead just opened the window a tiny crack and ran the bathroom fan all the time. The shower drain was slow the 1st day, told front desk, was fixed that day. Made the reservation ~4 months ahead, and happened to catch a Wyndham sale, so it was a super bargain. At regular prices would still be a good deal compared to hotels in Pittsburgh. It's about a 30 minute drive on I-376 to where we usually had to go on the east side of Pittsburgh; traffic backups before the Squirrel Hill tunnel are annoying and routine, but if it's bad enough Google will re-route you through back roads. Can walk next door to Dunkin Donuts if you want, or for lunch cross the street and go to Rudy's Subs where many locals eat. In the photos the eating area from left to right shows: juice dispenser, coffee/hot water machine, cream & sugar & jelly, toaster, basket sometimes with bananas or pudding cups, cereal dispenser, waffle maker, bread bins, ice machine.

Absolutely no Gluten-free breakfast options, and currently a broken coffee maker. We were first offered room 117, we found stains throughout the sheets, pillowcases, mattress protector, insulator sheet, and the furniture. Odor-wise, the room was dirty, smelly, and fragrant, needless to say, the room was a hard pass. Our second room was 124, better than our first room offer, but still lacked a clean, safe room. No matter which room you choose the doors and ceilings are thin, you will hear every conversation in the hallway or from the people staying on the second floor. A few recommendations: clean the air filters on the HVAC unit AND the exhaust fan covering in the bathroom, both were disgusting. Please refinish or replace the damaged furniture in the room. 90s furniture with a refreshed room takes away from the finished product. Having holes in the fabric of the chair is disgusting, and the added human fluids to the chair makes the room feel more like an hourly stay than an all-night hotel. Replace the bedsheets and mattress protectors, BOTH are worn out and thin, seeing through both layers is not mentally assuring. While you are at it, replace the mattresses, ours was well loved. Tighten all fixtures, having a sink faucet moving back and forth is the starting point of a leak. We appreciated the fresh paint, the shower head was amazing, the enlarged print as a headboard, and the new flooring, minus the squeaks. We could not stay a second or third night, we booked another Inn farther from the family but a nicer stay for us.

What can I say! I felt like I was at a spa. I had a growing weekend in Pittsburgh, where there was no room in the end. And I had just stayed at a Red Roof Inn and it wasn’t very nice. So I was in heaven at this place. The beautiful room and the beautiful decorations were so Satisfying. The amenities of bathroom products was superb! There was a spider in the bathtub and they come appear anywhere. I had to share with the manager how that little spider after putting it into the toilet slam around like it was surfing. Anyway, I’m sorry to report. It might’ve drowned because I flushed. I only had a big complaint about another person with smoking outside and leaving their cigarettes in a cup. The establishment can’t keep track of everybody and did not know this person left the trash overnight by my car. Anyway, the only negative thing I can say is that there were some ants that jumped up on the table and wanted to eat my breakfast. And the manager was singing as he was cleaning up , the breakfast area. I will stay there again in a heartbeat, but hopefully I’ll never be in a situation that I am so tired. I can’t finish another 77 miles of my trip. I loved that it was super super Duper!

I don't normally write reviews unless a motel is horrible. I just felt I needed to give a shout out to the awesome staff at this motel. When traveling with pets I'm limited to a few chains, and the motels tend to be run down and in disrepair. Let me describe my experience here. 1st, I requested a ground floor with 2 beds. I arrived late and the desk man informed me that all ground floor rooms only have 1 bed. Since I was traveling with a giant breed 6 month old puppy, I needed to get a large crate up the steps ( no elevator) The desk man offered to carry it upstairs for me, then offered me an upgraded room so I would have plenty of room for the crate. There was a king size bed and a pull out sofa bed. There was a huge jacuzzi tub which was not working, but I didnt care as i wasnt paying for that anyway. The property was super clean and modern, the outside was immaculate. Not a single piece of trash on the ground, grass was mowed and shrubbery all trimmed neatly. There was a full breakfast that included of waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, muffins, coffee and tea. Every single staff member was pleasant. The motel is in a rural area where it looks like nothing near by, then you get to Golden Mile Highway and there are tons of places to grab a bite to eat, most within walking distance. I will definitely stay here next time I'm...
