Did takeout our first go.
They did forget our soup!
And I waited like 10 minutes in the restaurant before anyone acknowledged me.
It's ok! They are brand new so they get a pass. People rating them low for service in their first week is really not fair. Ignore those ratings. Give them some time.
Fried rice is a bit on plain side, but still good. No large chunks of say carrot or peas like Americans are used to, but it's still very good. I see rice as only an accompaniment anyway really.
Thats where anything negative ends.
The place is nice inside. Register is to the rear, which is not ideal, but it is ok. Seating area nice.
We get hibachi for takeout. Was very good and ya know takeout is never as good as fresh.
Chicken, beef, and shrimp all very good. Spiced well, good cuts, veges good al-dente (not mush). Yum-yum sause was YUM-YUM!
Better hibachi than old Showgun in Monreoville.
Next we try dine in. Wife n Mum get hibachi again. Nice large portion, cuts very good!
I get yellow curry (chicken).
Um, HOLY WOW! Hands down the best curry I have ever tasted!
Had this slight hint of sweet that balanced the spice just perfectly! Somebody was watching Beat Bobby Flay maybe?!? (Hahaha)
I think my family was getting annoyed after the 7th time I said "This is SOOO GOOD!"
Can't wait to try the red and green!
I also had the hot n sour soup. Guess what? Never tasted better! Fantastic! Better than China palace and i think theirs is pretty good.
Can't wait to try rest of menu!
Im actually EXCITED to try it with how we have enjoyed what we had so far!
I feel like im in an Asian town somewhere eating local cuisine!
There just are not a lot of GOOD restaurants around anymore. The curry alone makes this a go-to for me!
The staff wear these cool looking Gi's, with their logo on the back, which is really super cool looking!
I feel like im surrounded by "Cobra Kai"! Hahaha!
Well all I can say is this "Daniel-Son" will be back to try the rest of the menu! Can't wait!
Maybe I'll go today for lunch!?!
Im being fair w 4 stars due to a couple hiccups, but I'm betting this place is 5 when they work out the small...

From the moment we walked into Koi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar, we were treated to a truly perfect dining experience. The entire restaurant is spotlessly clean, creating a wonderful and comfortable atmosphere.
You can tell a restaurant cares about quality when even the simple things are perfect. The fresh brewed iced tea was crisp and refreshing, and the starter salad was wonderfully ice cold and fresh. But let me tell you, that ginger dressing is exceptional—easily the best I have ever had!
The service was on another level. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was exceptional service in every sense of the word; the servers were literally running to ensure every table was cared for promptly. That level of hustle and dedication to the customer experience is truly impressive.
And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. The sushi was impeccably fresh and delicious, melting in your mouth with quality you can taste. Best of the Best roll....Amazing. We also ordered from the grill, and the hibachi was outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection, packed with incredible flavor.
The combination of amazing food, a pristine environment, and world-class service makes this our new go-to spot. We cannot recommend it...
Read moreFood was ok. I got the imperial with 3 different proteins. The fried rice very plain, the filet was cooked pretty decent and the chicken was nice. Shrimp was kinda tough. Nothing out of the ordinary from these types of restaurants. I think where they shine is the sushi, I had the volcano roll which was extremely good and well prepared so they definitely excel in the sushi department. Compared to other places ive been they're easily the same if not better.. BUT... The service wasnt good at all I guess they are brand new, It will take a few months to get in the groove. Never asked for drinks when we sat down, And I think they came to the table maybe twice. Price was Definitely higher than mr Tokyo but right around the same as saga. Although I think the sushi is better here than saga and about the same as mr Tokyo if not better at certain rolls especially in...
