Cardenas Markets — Attraction in Pomona

I was there yesterday shopping for a customer and once I walked in, I immediately noticed how clean, and well organized this store is and the pride that is given in the excellent keep!

I found an older man who was stocking shelves and let him know how appreciated he is by his service of the details in his work- we should always show respect to those who work so hard and see their energy expanded so that we have the best personal experience while there!!!

I know the other employees are doing their part in their specific jobs but this older man stocking shelves truly knows and understands that the perception was his advantage to create the right atmosphere because honey, outside was not the same indoor environment and his time, attention to detail was his personal gift as he was so proud but shocked that someone on the outside took the time to acknowledge everything and honey,... I see everything wherever I go and stores are reflections, conversations they carry with their neighborhood connection wise!

Give this man a raise- he's a valuable commodity and deserves to...

DO NOT recommend bakery! Worst customer service, and untrained staff. Order a birthday cake for a little girl, as most with children understand the toy/figurine is the main attraction for the cake, and was denied one regardless of it being the driving force for purchasing the cake int he first place. Asked the staff member multiple times to confirm if the order had a toy and she annoyingly responded "these orders do not have a toy", and denied to confirm with superiors. Ultimately had to make a second drive back to the store with confirmation order slip, the manager rather than acknowledging their mistake and apologize she only made excuses for the inept staff member. Cardenas Markets should do better in cross training their staff in different departments and especially invest in customer service in order to not lose customers as...

Upon arrival to the parking lot in front of the market, I was grossed out. There is trash all o er the parking area. Starting at the end where The 99 cents store is located all the way to the gas station. There is a security guard at the door, he was polite. The store is filled with customers, there are long lines at the registers.

I was there for the hot kitchen. I got a large container of green chile, a large container or red chile, 2 prepackaged mashed beans, 1 packet of rice. The whole family ate until they were ready to burst!! There was some left overs to pack a lunch. I forgive them for an unpresentable parking lot. The food was good and the price was right. Aaaaaaand the icing on my "cake" was the great service from the girl at the hot kitchen counter. She is very valuable. This store should do all things possible to...
