Dollar Treasure — Attraction in Port Huron

The first time I went here I purchased a couple packs of cigarettes and was short $0.90 in cash and was allowed to use my bank card to pay the rest. The second time I was there, I made the mistake of using EBT to purchase approximately $45 of overpriced groceries; and attempted to finish the order with my bank card to pay for the socks and t-shirt I needed... I was refused. I was informed that money from the State Treasury doesn't count as "real money" and that if I wanted to use my bank card that I would have to make a much larger purchase than $50 with "real money". After this incident, every single time I have gone to this store I have refused to use EBT. Even so; the employees and/or owners thereof are constantly harassing, slandering, defaming and intimidating me throughout my time shopping; alluding to the beliefs and espousing same that I am a thief and threatening to send me to jail. I have never stolen from them but have always paid cash for everything I have ever purchased from them and I don't appreciate being stalked through the store, harassed and threatened for things that only exist in their own delusional minds ...

Do not buy anything from Dollar Treasure on the Lapeer Rd. in Port Huron I bought $134.99 10x8-ft rug yesterday (a foot too wide) and wasn't told there's no returns, no refunds or any exchanges when I called today the owner said he'll take it back but I have to pay him $25 for him to hang it back up on the rack. I asked him why on a purchase like that are people not informed that there are no refunds there are no exchanges and that there's a restock even to exchange for a smaller rug, all he said is that's just their policy so the policy is not to inform the public that if you buy stuff from them you can't return it and if you try to return it or exchange it you still have to pay $25. The only sign I seen was that there were no returns or refunds for the holiday or seasonal items.

Because Google does not allow me to respond to the owners comment that display has at least be over 10 ft to 15 ft high how is it individual supposed to see a sign hanging that high with the rugs directly in front of them and he says that there's no refunds or returns within 7 days I informed them that I bought it just...

We used to love shopping here but the new lady they have working there is why we will never be returning and I hope you save your time too! She is EXTREMELY rude and just plain mean. The one day I went in and asked how much it would be the get balloons from Amazon filled she told me no more than two dollars each max (she said that several times) the day of the party I walk in and she very rudely tells me that it will cost $5 each. So I had to go all the way to other side of town to pay 2.99 each at party city, because she lied to me. Then I figure I'll give the store another chance, I went with 4 kids to let them pick something so I gave them each a dollar and had a pair of shoes and some rubber bands I planned to pay for separately. She VERY manly said I couldn't do that so instead of fighting her I said fine (because I had 4 kids I was dealing with as well) and then I get to the car and realized she over charged me by $4 I will not be back again. Sorry you let her ruin...
