China Wok — Restaurant in Port Huron

This horrible excuse for a business really deserved a negative number. If you are a new diner to this experience as I was, let me share 'the rules' for this establishment before they over charge, under cook your food, and you have the delightful experience of trying to talk with a person through a literal hole in the wall. Be sure to stand out in the cold, and read ALL the hand written signs they have plastered on the front window, this is key to understanding 'the rules.' I made the big mistake of an impulse decision for this food. Research the menu online and decide what you want before hand and call, cause the hole in the wall doesn't like questions.

Once you have placed an order with the hole in the wall, which is in a really short hallway that only one person can be at a time. Be sure to remember the number that the hole is the wall gives you, cause then you have to make a choice. Go out and stand in the cold with the rest of the impatient people in the unofficial line outside the business 'If you didn't read the signs on the window it's to late now.' Or go back to your car and wait, but then you won't see the little sticky note with your number that they post in the window when your order is ready. So it's multiple trips out of your car, in the cold to check. Make sure you check with every other person in the unofficial line first that their number was not put up before yours. Once you have seen your sticky note and checked with every other person standing in the cold you can then proceed to get your food from the hole in the wall. Repeat this process, if they messed up your order, or just do what I did toss out the food, write a review and NEVER go back there again. Hope this...

We have had take out from you for many many years , and have been 99% happy every time, generous portions and sorry for the loss of bussiness due to the virus, many years ago weather you made your own eggrolls or preordered them they were the best in town, a few years ago you changed they were so so, but not to the point that we wound not order from you again, but last night we ordered, and they once again were something that was far less appealing then what you had, i can only hope and wish even if you have to add 50 cents to each meal that you would bring back the oringinal eggroll , i almost ordered extra eggroll last night, i surely would have been disappointed , we will always order from you, but if the eggrolls are as sorry as last nights even as good as it is , we will go else where, or just start eating more pizza, thank you, 11-20 2020 please bring back the oringinal eggrolls and keep...

This was by far the worst Chinese I've ever had. I ordered sweet and sour chicken the fried rice to me seems like steamed with some sort of food coloring making it yellow. I gave two stars . I'm not trying to be a total jerk. I would hope possibly, they start to do a better job in the future. Maybe, this restaurant is wonderful on other days of the week. Maybe they're struggling with Cooks, I don't know? I would recommend going somewhere else for Chinese food. It's hard to find good Chinese food in Port Huron. The chicken breading looked like it had veins in numerous pieces of chicken. I'm assuming this was sprouts they got mixed into the batter. It made it look very unappetizing.
