As I was near the register earlier today the two women working were talking badly about another customer. It was something to do with oil or something.I thought that was pretty unprofessional but was polite to them and the younger girl with red hair made it very clear that she wasn’t interested in any small talk as I checked out by ignoring and not responding to not all but most of what I said. It very much felt like they wanted me to go away ASAP so they could go back to talking about that customer. I used to love this store and was happy to support them but I won’t return. This is actually the second time in a week that I’ve gone and been treated rudely and dismissively. The woman who was rude the first time I went last week was the second woman there talking badly about a customer today. I was happy to support a local new age witchy shop but I’ll be ordering my mass market decks from Amazon from this point on (they’re much cheaper anyway and I literally only bought any decks from there just to support the shop that I was so thankful existed) and my other miscellaneous witchy supplies elsewhere. The blue butterfly was once a warm, welcoming place but not so much anymore. The workers I’ve encountered recently appear to be rather resentful of their jobs or their customers...

The Blue Butterfly states that they are family owned and operated. The family operated is 100% true. However the lovingly operated is a complete lie. We were never greeted, and from the moment we walked in we were followed around. I have been part of the metaphysical/new age community all my life and I have never been treated more poorly. The gal that said she was the owners sister relentlessly kept giving us a count down to when the store closed. As a business owner myself I wouldn't ever rush paying customers away from my shop. I had at least 100.00 worth of merchandise at the counter I wanted to purchase. My son was looking for a book and it was understandably taking some time, like most book purchases do and she became ruder and more hateful by the second. I asked for her name to report this to the owner and she handed me a card. Told me her sister would recieve my complaint on their Facebook page. I happen to know their fb page can be manipulated in regards of reviews, however google cannot. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this shop. I wish I could give ZERO stars, but google doesn't give that as an option. The owner should immediately fire her sister. She lost her a lot of money today and I am sure this isn't the first time it...

Decent selection for a small shop , great of you need small stones for metaphysical reasons such as gridding.they have some herbs and other stuff to and lots of beautiful jewlery. However as a pretty serious gem collector i was alittle disappointed in there lack of specimen and cabinet peices ( not to mention the exorberant prices on not very high quality materials) ... Most note worthy though .... Ive never been to a metaphysical shop where ive been talked down to as a customer.and as a repeat customer this is a repeat occurance, And has happened almost every time ive gone in here. Whether its my knowledge being condeceningly questioned on not very rare or diffrent minerals , scoffed at for not beliving marketing gimmicks or just mocked behind my back as i shop quietly ...its just one of the most negative "spiritual...

Any and every spiritual wonder or knowledge can be found here. The staff is amazing and very insightful. Myndi officiated my pagan wedding. The massage therapist is AWESOME! The reiki healing can work wonders as well. Defiantly a place to go for crystals, rocks, oils, incense and all other metaphysical needs. Even tarot!!

We come here for THE BEST catnip on planet earth among other wonderful treasures like dragons blood candles. Fantastic employees, customers and stock. This place is an overall 10/10 experience and you love to see metaphysical shops who shine. 🌈✨ ✌️ 😊
