GameStop — Attraction in Porterville

!Careful buying any pre orders here! Ordered funko pop pre order in store, was told I would receive a text or call about their arrival to the store and never did and their excuse was that they "swear" they called every pre order (lie) I waited hand and foot on this call to arrive only for them to never have called. Tried to reach out for days about when they would arrive to no success of even reaching an employee. Finally went in to reclaim but to much disappointment the pop was long gone and I was only offered a measly $5 refund, not even the full amount of the figure. All in all they wasted my time and money and didn't care about making things right with the customer. Go across the street to Walmart or Target if you want an attitude free...

Gamestop in general? Eh. This Gamestop? Great.

It's all thanks to Amanda, one of the workers here. We bought a load of Switch accessories after finally finding one, one of which was a screen protector.

We went to apply it and it left a giant mess all over our screen. Weird bubbles, odd marks, the works. Especially unusual as my wife is a perfectionist with these things.

We brought it in to Amanda and she was appalled. She took a picture to show her manager/staff, then promptly hooked us up with a different brand. No sweat and easy as can be.

It works great now...

Wow!! I have to say that I've never experienced a crew SO genuinely kind and understanding of my 10% knowledge of these gadgets. I also have to say that I know that this morning crew legitimately cared that my son and I were going to leave that store happy BUT what tops it all was when nonchalantly the employee whispered to me that in his opinion he recommended something more appropriate for my sons age. Just in that simple gesture, made my heart feel better. I appreciate all you guys do. Thanks for your patience and for explaining the difference in GTA...
