Maximo's Grocery, Bakery, and Restaurant — Attraction in Porterville

Anytime we have a BBQ (almost weekly)we get all of our meat , ceviche, and pico de gallo from here !!! The only one thing I would say is sometimes the pico de gallo isn't fresh and we love the pico de gallo so much so hopefully they can keep an eye on the freshness threwout their slow days because I know after quite a few hours the pico de gallo doesn't have the same taste nor appearance so hopefully that can be worked on. Really love the remodel – the store looks so much cleaner and more inviting. The overall experience feels like a totally different vibe compared to before. The food is great, and you can really tell new management has made some positive changes. I see some people complaining about prices, but honestly, everything has gone up everywhere. Bad.... Bad.... Bad. I went to buy chicken and when I got home it smelled bad. I called the store and asked for the manager and the lady that answered wouldn't give me the managers name. Everything smelled fishy from the chicken to her attitude. Not a good place to buy meats. Plus I had gone to that store a long time ago and I remembered the meat looked dry and bad, and it was still up for sale....
