Hidden gem - this little park has two play structures, one for littler kids and one for big kids. There are also Swings for big kids and little kids, three see-saws, and a merry-go-round. There is a restroom, a baseball diamond, field space, a picnic table, and a bench. I went on a Wednesday morning and there was one kid on the playground for a little while and a few people walking their dogs but not very busy. Everything is clean and in good shape.

The nature walk is awesome, and the playground is updated and nostalgic at the same time. The trash could probably get emptied more often as it was overflowing, and someone had gotten into the bathroom I think after it was locked up, cause a bunch of someone's stuff was sitting by the door. I wish people would leave the parks alone, I get they are public, but kids don't need to be exposed to it in their spaces.

The park was really nice. We used the baseball diamond for a softball game after our Sunday meeting. Bathrooms were nice and clean, as far as public bathrooms go. They are also real bathrooms.

This was my childhood playground between the years of 1965 to 1969. We lived at 2212 SW Caldew St., which boarders the park. I was ages 5-9. Back then Mom said, "Go outside and play" so we did; all day...the trees were younger back then, but so was I. This photo was taken about 5 years ago. It's sad to see the parks name changed to, "A Park". Even at the age of 5, I knew Custer Park was "A park". They say things change as time goes on. I wish...
