This is a fenced off-leash dog park within an existing city park. The main city park appears to be brand new. Elaborate play structures, slides, mini amphitheater, and well defined paths. The dog park area has to dual gate entrance is. One located at the south east corner. And one located at the north end. There are quite a few little tree clusters to break up the openness of the dog park. I running drinking water available at both entrances. It would be nice if they maintained the dog park as well as the main park. There are overgrown sections in the grass is reclaiming the sidewalk in the dog park area. About 2/3 of the park is grass and 1/3 of the dog park is hard packed gravel/sand.

The park is great because the more you come there the more it becomes like a family to others. The Only downside is that they turned off the water for the dogs turning it on for one day then it’s off so warning bring water for your dog for these cases

This park is a few houses away from my childhood home. It's a really nice park. There's a playground for the kids, a skatepark, basketball court and a walking path. There's also a community garden on site that you can pay to use.

I had the pleasure of visiting Luuwit View Dog Park with my furry friend yesterday, and it quickly became a favorite spot for both of us. This park truly lives up to its reputation, offering an excellent space with superb drainage, ensuring a mud-free experience even after rain.

The park features a well-constructed, fully fenced area that provides a safe environment for pups to play and socialize. I particularly appreciated the provision of fresh pumped water, a thoughtful amenity that adds to the convenience, especially for pet owners with children in tow. Speaking of which, the proximity to a nearby park is a bonus, making it an ideal destination for families.

While the dog park itself is pristine and open, providing ample room for dogs to roam, I did notice a lack of shade in the area. With Portland's summer heat, this could potentially be uncomfortable for our furry friends. Nonetheless, this minor drawback doesn't detract from the overall fantastic experience at Luuwit View Dog Park.

In summary, Luuwit View Dog Park is a clean, well-maintained, and spacious facility that ticks all the boxes for a great outing with your pup. With its excellent amenities and nearby attractions, it's undoubtedly a gem in Portland's...

Easily the best park I have been to in years. The different activities for kids was remarkable. Sand station, music station, rock walls, and safety of the park is wonderful. The dog park has gravel and grass. Lots of paved path for accessibility. I think some of the swings were handiacceasible. The park is modern and has a covered area that manages not to be creepy. Lots of beautiful views, running area for the kids and points of sights for parents. Loved it.

My second favorite park of all time. (I am partial to Peninsula Park because I got my wedding photos taken there. But if it weren't for that I would be voting for Luuwit park.

Luuwit park is absulutely magnificent.

I haven't even talked about the BEAUTIFUL art mosaics. The park itself is BEAUTIFULLY designed. The art just puts a...
