Sa Bai cought my eye because it had good reviews, and I'm so glad I tried it! The location is an unassuming strip mall on the outside but inside it had a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The service staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the kitchen had our lunch out nice and quick. The salad rolls were delicious, made with fresh veggies and tasty chicken and served with a savory peanut sauce which had just a little bit of spiciness to it. My Pad Thai was quite likely the best I've ever had! A generous amount of sauce with a nice tang to it surrounding perfectly cooked noodles and fresh crispy bean sprouts. The portion sizes were big enough to bring leftovers home, which really helps with the overall value of eating out in today's world of inflating prices. I'm definitely going back again, as there are lots of dishes on the menu that I will want to try! And, of course, they are trans friendly 🏳️‍🌈🐸

We stopped in here to quell a Thai craving we had and could not have been happier with our experience. We ordered the (Tofu) Rard Naar and the (Vegetable) Cashew Nut dishes. Both were incredible and served family style in a boat with a large serving spoon. Each dish is prepared to your desired spice level (Mild, Medium, Hot, or Thai Hot). We chose Hot and it was indeed spicy, but not in a way that overwhelmed the flavor. We were both very happy with our decision. Additionally we started with the fresh salad rolls which were indeed quite fresh but it was the peanut sauce that truly made them shine. We finished our meal off with the Mango Sticky Rice which is my partner's favorite dessert and she said it was one of the best she's ever had. There was more food than we could finish for sure and we took some of each of the entrees home.

Dear Owner,

My girlfriend and I have been coming to your restaurant for several months now even though Thai food is available 5-20 minutes away, I drive 30 min to your establishment because the food is usually delicious.

We have been away on vacation craving Thai food, so we decided to drive out there. On 6/9 around 3-4 pm we came in and were promptly seated and we ordered PORK FRIED RICE and GREEN BEAN CHILIS. the food came out and the pork was different and not tasty. It was a pale cream color and had no flavor, but at least it was edible. The green bean chili dish was awful. The dish had several large pieces that contained no chicken. As per your restaurant no one ever really checks back, but I understand asain service. I flagged down the guy at counter (he works there alot and is very friendly) and he quickly removed the green chili dish and had another prepared. I was full and took it to go.

Meanwhile I am eating the rest of our food and no one refills my water despite there being a ton of staff just standing there. Our waitress was standing there talking to other coworkers while playing on her phone folding napkins with her back to her tables, which were only 2-3. The food is spicy and I was left thirsty. Your whole FOH staff except the one Asian dude I always see, was utterly useless.

I have never been so disappointed in a favorite restaurant of mine. The food was changed and was not good. The refire was not good either, I ate it later. Basically now, you are like all the other Thai restaurants in this town, sub-par and ordinary. I will not be back as I can get crappy Thai 5 minutes away from my house.

If your food and service return to previous highs, I would like to come back, but as of now you have lost our business as well as my friends who commented on some ownership change or staff change. Get it together...

Terrible, calous and rude staff. We went to this place as a party of nine for lunch after noticing the higher than average rating on Yelp. Upon arrival we were informed we would have to spilt up since they didn't have seating for 9 at the time. We were fine with it. After getting seated at two separate tables, the main server came to our table and started off with 'just so you know our cooks are busy, there will be 15 to 20 minutes wait for everything on the menu'. It seemed odd that he wouldn't say that upon seating us. Moreover, he just stood there with a blank stare on his face after making that statement. In hindsight, perhaps he just wanted us to leave or was upset about something else and just did not care about customer service.

We were fine with that strange getting statement as well and started ordering. He kept on interrupting us, rushing us, being curt and impatient. We got thru putting in most of the order for our table in expect my wife's who asked him about the Salmon, he asked her to just read the menu in a condescending manner. And, while she was doing that, he just rudely announced- take your time, I will pause your order and left to go stand behind his counter. I am very patient and easy going at restaurants, and don't expect much for service, but this person acted like he was burdened by us being there and made it known from the beginning. After this unprofessional behavior, we did not want to stay any longer. As we stood up to leave, not a single staff member made an attempt to even ask us what happened. This shows their level of customer service and professionalism. I am sure you can find good, maybe even better food at other places with certainly much more decent human beings serving them- just like we did after walking...

Let me caveat this review with an acknowledgement that the food in this restaurant is exceptional. This rating is not about the quality of the food you'll get. Sadly, food quality can only carry you so far.

If you are a to-go queen like I am, this is unequivocally NOT the place to go.

If you are vegetarian, this is unequivocally NOT the place to go.

Through multiple visits, they have given me 4 wrong orders, 3 of which were prepared with meat after having specified a vegetarian order. The other time was a failure to include a component of the order. After having called back and promised a refund, it did not happen. Overall, it weighs out to approximately 50% accuracy on their food prep. This is due to staffing and training inefficiencies (wrong orders sent, mixed up tickets, etc...).

Additionally, you'll be waiting anywhere from 45 min to 1 hour as a standard for orders anywhere close to peak hours (4pm - 8pm). I watched 3 patrons walk out after having not been greeted. This was on ONE visit.

Finally, the understanding they have of customer service is atrocious. When running a restaurant, patrons don't want to hear a laundry list of why you are __ (fill in the blank with some complaint/excuse). They want to get their food and get out. Good restaurant service is professional, friendly, efficient, and focused on the consumer. They hit the friendly component and that is it. It is glaringly obvious that there is no experience from the owners in how to run a successful restaurant and the core components...
