Rocky Butte may be a cliché location for photography in 2022 but I still love to photograph all types of clients here. As you’ll see in my attached photos I have done many shoots here over the years and I’ve never had a complaint. Sure young adults like to come up here to make out or do drugs but I’ve never had any issues.

I’ve always loved this place not only for the incredible view of the city (one of the best in Portland) but also because I love the gothic / medieval vibes. At night it feels like a place vampires would hangout.

Unfortunately there is no bathroom but there’s always plenty of free parking. This is a great place to take friends and family from out of town because it’s close to the airport.

A few people had a ball to play catch with, and we even saw one group playing a board game. Several people had pups with them, so I would consider it dog friendly.
