My time at PBC was easily one of the most fulfilling seasons that I will forever cherish. I arrived incredibly insecure and without much joy, but with the environment heavily focused on seeking a deep relationship with God, the Lord completely transformed me. There were so many doors of opportunity opened to me that I never could have imagined, and was incredibly humbled by. I will never forget the pastors there who spoke into me, trusted me with responsibilities that I had only dreamed of having, and lead me in the right direction towards Jesus. As long as you go and truly focus on what God has for you in that season, He will transform you in ways that are so freeing. Portland Bible College is an amazing school with wonderful people. The classes are engaging, practical, and biblically sound. The teachers care about the truth and teach everythig the Bible says, not just what isn't controversial. The faculty care about the wellbeing of the students, and that is so clear in class and outside of class. PBC provides very high quality relationships and education, and makes that available to many through impressively low costs. Amazing staff and pastors. Phenomenal way to make a lasting Christian community that you can interact with all over the world. Especially recommend this school to International Students and people looking to learn English. Since there is a small population of students on campus it makes it easy to meet native English Speakers and learn from them in conversation. Many large Universities end up having large country groups form in which people stay in their comfort zones and don’t get to meet as many people from places other than their home country.
