I remember when the previous equipment was put up and the excitement behind it. And up until it was removed, I enjoyed that park with my nephews and nieces over the years. The most recent renovations are exciting too and the park seems bigger. I was there with my five year old nephew who always has lots of energy and likes to climb. There was plenty for him to do and we didn't even get to all of it. He absolutely loved the rock climbing structure. He climbed it twice. He loved the merry-go-round swing thing. Waiting to get on that was tricky. You have kids staying on it for long periods and kids just coming up when anyone gets off oblivious to other kids waiting. Maybe a designated waiting area and an automatic timer would be useful for that. My only other gripe was trying to keep up with my nephew. I like to keep my eyes on him at all times to make sure he's not being mistreated by other kids or adults and it was DIFFICULT at times! The middle structure is high and has many parts. I'll have to come with another adult so I feel comfortable. Overall, I love the renovation. I'll definitely be back numerous times. One of my favorite parts was the maracas we played with as we exited.

This is a really awesome park. There is a pool, splash pad, playground, covered picnic area, and restrooms. There is a separate section of the playground area for smaller children. Only negative is the play structures are showing their age. The monkey bears and metal slide can get way too hot to use in our Alabama summers.

Awesome park on the river, has trails, river, clean restrooms, a community garden, outdoor gym, playground, waterpark, pool, about the only good use of gov money I have seen here. They do have a slight duck problem that's about it. Wish they rented kayaks or tubes.. Dogs allowed on leash.

Overall a wonderful park in my opinion. Cons: The restrooms were absolutely disgusting. There's a lot of riff-raff. People were running around screaming about a stolen purse. The splash pad closed at sunset, and when we exited the park, the amount of litter in the parking lot was downright embarrassing. Some people really don't appreciate this park. Pros: This is a SUCH nice park with a big playground with a walking trail that circles a pond. There's lots of geese and some people fish. There is a large covered pavilion and a splash pad to cool off in. There's also a large swimming pool next door but it appeared to be closed when we went. We aren't from here but we come to visit and support this city about once a month and will continue to do so. This park is a...

Pratt Park used to be one of my favorite parts because of the old style wooden playground with all the little nooks and crannies to hide and there was plenty of room for all kinds of kids to play. Now they've got the new playground I'm not going to say it's terrible but I don't exactly like it it is not geared towards kids these days it causes too many fights it's overcrowded and there's just equipment out there that really doesn't get used because either they can't do it or nobody really likes that so that's why I gave it three stars hopefully they improve on it but if they don't I would definitely suggest going to a...
