30 March 2024 I choose this coffee shop to meet a friend for a cup of coffee. When I searched Google yesterday for coffee shops in Prattville, I looked at this one and read quite a few reviews. Too many did not recommend this business because they were disappointed that their coffee was poured from a carafe. WELL, my café latte was brewed with a professional espresso machine and I thought it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I highly recommend it. The young woman taking our order was pleasant, polite, friendly and courteous. I am confident I will return. The seating outside listening and looking at the flow of the waterway was extremely relaxing with a delicious café latte!! I wanted to try for my first time Fox's Pizza Den across the street from the Coffeehouse, so I did not even look at their ice cream........... maybe next time, eh!? By the way I thought the pizza was absolutely wonderfully delicious. I was...
Read moreNormally I love this place. My regular people weren't there tonight though. There were two young girl working. Sweet girls, but after they scooped my ice cream they realized they didn't have lids that fit. I paid for my ice cream already. My ice cream was melting down the bowls while they kept trying to find them. Then they said they're just going to put my ice cream into smaller bowls. Instead of re-scooping my ice cream, they scooped it out of my large bowls into small bowls and made an even bigger mess. When I asked her if it would be easier to just re-scoop it she said no its fine. My ice cream was half melted and melted all down my cups. I paid $16 FOR 5 SCOOPS of ice cream. If someone pays you that much money for ice cream RE-SCOOP IT. Terrible service this time around. Still the only place in town that has my ice cream. I'm not mad just very disappointed and ticked off that what I brought home was $16.... please...
Read moreThis place was so needed in Prattville! It kept coming up with different people I was trying to meet up with that there aren't any really good, quiet, cozy coffee shop environments in the area. They have tons of cute nooks. There's even a section upstairs. It's a lot bigger than I expected. And I loved the Raisin and Rum ice cream. The staff was nice, and they have outdoor seating overlooking the creek. So thankful for this place! Can't wait to go back.
Update: I went again and got a waffle cone. The salted caramel is delicious. It has the chocolate caramel cups which gives it a little crunch, and it was the perfect amount of salt throughout. Great flavor in every bite.
I was able to walk in 89 degree sunny weather to the fountain and the water at the mill without it making a mess until the very end. I had grabbed a couple of napkins, which did...
