The John Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts — Attraction in Providence

Attended the wind ensemble concert on Friday November 27th at the John Nazarian Center on the RIC campus. This was our first time attending an evening listening to the RIC wind ensemble. It was an evening of incredibly well played music. Such an amazing experience! The wind ensemble performances did not disappoint! These are some extremely talented, dedicated, well versed young musicians whose passion for their music is evident. It was our first time attending this concert but it won’t be the last! My daughter dance school holds their year-end performance here, every year. While the venue is a lovely place to watch a performance, it had many flaws. The restrooms is ridiculously small to accommodate an entire theater of people. The air conditioning is sub par for a summertime venue. It was over 80 degrees inside the auditorium. As patrons it was uncomfortable, I can't imagine how the dancers felt.

The seats are comfortable and the venue is modern. I do wish they cared more about the comforts...

I really like the Theater classes to experience my acting again in RIC and I really like the Forman Theatre inside the Nazarian Center to see the plays with my friends and family, and they have the great sets and acting equipments...
