To preface this review, I have worked in the customer service industry my entire life, but unfortunately, I will never return. Prices are too high for what they offer. Most lunch items are fried. Be cautious when you arrive between breakfast and lunch hours but are hoping for breakfast still. There seems to be a lack of communication. Our server stated “we are no longer serving breakfast” . We then ordered lunch. We then received our lunch. At that point when we then received our lunch, multiple parties of patrons around us asked for breakfast and they said “we’ll see what we can do”. When one of the the solely and singularly rudest waitresses I have ever experienced asked how everything was (waitress is apparently GF of owner whose name is Dave, not Carmine,) I kindly stated that if I had known breakfast may be provided then I surely would have asked. I offered some suggestions to maybe put the times for breakfast and lunch on the menu and the waitress literally said, “I’m not going to argue with you”. I said my thoughts in the nicest way and actually apologized if she thought I was complaining. Clearly customer ideas are not taken seriously. Waitress oddly walked away uninterested in a consumer suggestion. She clearly misconstrued my dissatisfaction,, entirely. Again, will not return. Too many other places to have breakfast or lunch where thoughts are actually appreciated. On a lighter note: if you see Gina there please say hi!! She is awesome!! To reiterate, there were multiple people asking for breakfast, and when we immediately sat down we were told breakfast is not available. Why would we then ask for breakfast??? When I offered suggestions she kept stating, then why didn’t we ask for breakfast. Why? Because we were told “no breakfast”. She asked the same question again which I found to be lack of listening skills in an industry where listening is essential for a restaurant of any kind. Also, I would absolutely never ever laugh at anyone, much less an older woman. I’m not young and it’s insulting to think of what your response is in return. Communication would have gone a long way to understand why no breakfast is an option but yet then (maybe?) there is breakfast available. Shame on this establishments response to assume any dissatisfaction was directly related to an older customer. Clearly lack of communication. Your reply holds no merit and quite shocking as we as we left $50 at your table for a simple pub like lunch. Fries were greasy and soggy. Carmine/ Dave, your reply in no way relates to how the scenario truly occurred. Response is indicative of said service. Thanks for any response, I guess. Hope you have a...
Read moreWas looking forward to trying out Carmine's after being a huge lover of cows for so many years. Finally tried it today, interior is okay. They could probably work the tables a bit better so you're not stuck against somebody elses table. And could utilize the space way better! The food.... I ordered the eggs benedict and one look at it, I sent it back. The hollandaise was completely split and looked gross... My son got poached eggs. They were both fully cooked through:( If you can't cook an egg, then maybe you're in the wrong business..... Only one other table getting food around the same time we were and it took 25 minutes to get ours. I overheard their son had ordered a chicken parm sandwich and it was burnt ... The waitress tried telling them that it wasn't burnt. That's just the way it cooks and needless to say they found out when they cut into it it was burnt! Just very disappointed.....Expected a lot more from what others have posted about it.....Pretty pricey as well as my son got two eggs, two pancakes, small piece of Canadian ham and two pieces of bacon $16! Also, the poor waitress definitely needs more experience on how to be a server.... Took my son's glass and said she'd get a more orange juice but didn't tell us that you'd be paying another $4 for it ..$8 for two small glasses of OJ.... They did take mine off the Bill and I was all set with trying anything else... Sadly left there hungry and will never...

I went by to get my usual breakfast plates I had used to get from Cals two plates were 6.99 each on the menu but I like to add peppers and onions to my home fries and the lady said that would have been a $5 up charge!?? For onions and peppers. Anyway I get there and they give me a price of $30? And I’d like to add that the lady who answered the phone had a chip on her shoulder over the phone and in person. Bring back the old owners they...
