Laura Atwood Studio Beads & Trading Co. — Attraction in Proviso Township

I have visited the store twice in the past week and I cannot say enough good things about it. What initially drew me in was reading a post on Facebook. When you first walk in, there is the most amazing wall of beads that is color coordinated...absolutely amazing! There are various hand made items from all over the world! I was most excited to see the back room full of crystals! So many gorgeous pieces! There was so much thought that went into the entire store. My friend and I happened to visit on a rare sunny day in February which just added to the experience. The back room was lit up and the sun was reflecting off all the pieces. Laura herself so helpful and her stories just further prove how much heart/passion she puts into her business. I am so glad I found such a “gem” right in my own backyard. Laura Atwood Studio Beads is absolutely awesome. I have been shopping and beading there since Laura opened her shop. Laura has everything you could possibly want to shop for - from beading and jewelry items, fabulous selection of clothes, and beautiful housewares from all over the country. She also has a wonderful selection of candles and bath products. You can find items and products for yourself or gift-giving. The setting in Laura's shop is very inviting. I was looking for a place where to learn jewelry making and after looking for stores around my house, I found Laura Atwood’s place and fell in love with her and her studio. She has gemstones of the best quality and as you visit the different rooms in her store you discover the exquisite merchandise that she sells. The magic touch she has when teaching is unbelievable.
