Motion Source — Attraction in Proviso Township

As an interview training company we needed to take our video products up several levels and to find a partner who could help us launch our new video course Interview Logic. Motion Source helped us do that and exceeded our expectations in every way!

From the moment we contacted them to the final release of the videos they were professional, engaged, patient and timely. They were the only production company in the Chicagoland area that we contacted that was willing to hold a phone call and listen to our vision within a day of reaching out. When we visited their studio we were impressed with their space and resources. All of their key players showed up and it was obvious they took our project seriously. They already had ideas for how to create an engaging and unique product. Craig and Steve are up to speed on the latest video trends and resourceful in how they envisioned the shoot.

Their proposal was easy to understand, fair and automated. When it came to casting a rather complex series of days they helped us navigate the world of professional actors and agents in a very affordable way.

Throughout the casting auditions and the filming days I was very impressed with Craig's ability to get the most out of each actor. He runs a calm and orderly set and we always hit our milestones. Filming days were a lot of fun and the entire crew is easy-going and professional. They did a great job of being quietly efficient while we let the actors shine. Post production went without a hitch and they turned around all of our edits and comments quickly.

I cannot say enough positive things about the team at Motion Source! Michelle, David, and Mike were awesome to work with. They are punctual, thorough, thoughtful, and - most importantly - kind and respectful. Working with individuals who have experienced trauma is not an easy road to navigate when asking survivors to re-tell their story on film but they blew it out of the water being patient, repeating themselves when necessary, and being reassuring because confidence in front of the camera is not something everyone has. Besides being professional, Michelle, David, and Mike are just good people, period. A participant of ours was quiet, reluctant, and so unsure of herself at the onset of filming but by the time the morning came to an end, she was the complete opposite. We’ve worked with Motion Source on three different projects over the course of two years and each has turned out uniquely creative and as perfect testimonies to our Foundation’s mission. As a non-profit organization working with people living with ALS, we’ve recruited Motion Source to create two fundraising videos and one awareness video. The fundraising videos were huge hits, helping us raise record funds, and the awareness video received a ton of attention on social media and increased attendance at our largest fundraiser.
