In my opinion, it's kinda sad. This little groundhog, spends his time at the library alone for how long? I feel like if this whole town is kinda sorta riding on Phil's coattails to stay relevant as being this 'weather capital of the world'. Shouldnt this dude have like a farm dedicated to him? A place where Phil's and Phyllises can frolick around and at least enjoy being in captivity, or maybe develop an anamatronic Phil, call'm phil-4ever but that sounds like the beginning to a scary black mirror epsiode. Idk I'm just some idiot posting reviews on Google but.. there's gotta be a better way.

I have been to Phil's Burrow several times through the years. This visit I did not see Mr. Phil, but have in the past. It is a spot to see. I would recommend going when the library is open, I feel it is a nicer view, but either spot is somewhere to visit. Phil might be sleeping, eating, or checking things, He is neat to see in Punxstawney. Your visit will all depend on the day and time visiting with Phil. You might be lucky and see Phil walking around.

My Mom and I stopped here on our road trip. This was a very rainy day and the groundhogs were sleeping. You can see them in two places, outside and inside the library down a couple of steps in the children's area. I don't know how often they clean the glass to look through, but on our visit it was pretty messy. I would recommend coming to see them, then go down the road to the chamber of commerce for any souvenirs you might need.

The town goes all out for the parade and town tree lighting. Get there early and bring your chairs. They have Punxsutawney Phil leading all the local organizations , businesses and Scout troups even fire trucks that was apart of the 9-11 recovery. Then Santa all ending at the town tree lighting. There's candy flying everywhere , hot chocolate stands as well as a McDonald's selling hot chocolate and Christmas pies. Was really a great time . glad to see such an all out event and parade. A great event and i would highly recommend it if you anywhere near Punxsutawney around this time. Stop in the people we're really friendly and all had the Christmas spirit. Thanks for putting on such an...

I was very excited to see Phil and Phyllis up close. Even better that we could still them after the library had closed. As much as the town holds Phil up as a matttee of pride and identity (statues all over town), trying to find him was harder than I thought. I had the address from the website. But it never mentioned his burrow and there were no signs in the square. I would have liked to have read more about this Phil and his history. Basically I love back stories and this left me...
